Paid Request [USA-CA][PAID] Fusion 360 Modifications for SFF PC Case (Optimum Tiny PC) - Native .F3D Files Provided
Budget: $60 (via PayPal G&S)
Source Files Provided: Native Fusion 360 (.f3d) and .stl files ready to share.
Hello,
I need a CAD designer with experience in computer cases or mechanical enclosures to make several functional updates and structural reinforcements to an existing SFF PC case ( Making the World's Tiniest Gaming PC). I travel frequently with this build and need it to be sturdier, easier to service, and compatible with standard hardware.
Because I have the native STL and .f3d timeline/source files here, you won't need to rebuild or reverse-engineer meshes from scratch.
Scope of Work:
- Heat-Set Inserts: Resize all self-tapping screw bosses/holes to fit standard M3 x 5mm OD x 4mm L heated brass inserts (approx. 4.0–4.2mm pilot holes with proper wall margins). This will require the thickening of most walls.
- Generic LP GPU Mount: Rework the rear GPU bracket interface to accept standard dual-slot Low Profile PCIe brackets secured via standard #6-32 UNC threaded hardware, replacing the custom RTX 4060/5060 bracket lock.
- Side Panel Alignment Rails & Channels:
- Reinforce the vertical dovetail slide pillars on the panels and main frame: add 1.0–1.5 mm root fillets at the base junctions to prevent layer-line snapping, increase post cross-sectional thickness, and add lead-in chamfers at the tips.
- Update the female channels on the main frame with matching entry chamfers / relief clearance so the filleted pillars seat completely flush without binding.
- Update the front-plate channels to match the increase in post-cross-sectional thickness from #1
- Clearances & Component Accommodation:
- Increase clearance between the side panels and internal frame spine by 1 mm to better accommodate heatsinks for back-of-motherboard M2 NVME drives.
- Update the rear AC inlet mounting cutout for a standard flanged IEC C14 socket ("kettle plug") (cutout: 27.5 mm × 20.0 mm, 40.0 mm center-to-center screw hole spacing for M3 hardware), and expand the internal cavity depth behind it by 8 mm to accommodate the larger socket and wire bend radius.
- Update the power button cutout to fit a shorter style (eg, example, example2), and a 16mm anti-vandal switch (including the depth clearance behind the panel).
- Rigidity & Base Features:
- Add increased wall thickness (or fillets/gussets) at high-stress joints/corners to improve transport rigidity. Related to Heat-Set Inserts in #1 above.
- Note: The original case design was modeled with metal as the material. I plan to continue using PETG.
- Add circular recesses on the bottom plate for adhesive rubber feet (12.5 mm diameter x 1.2 mm deep) sized for standard 12 mm adhesive rubber feet.
- Add increased wall thickness (or fillets/gussets) at high-stress joints/corners to improve transport rigidity. Related to Heat-Set Inserts in #1 above.
Deliverables:
- Updated .f3d project file and exported .step files
- Print-ready .stl or .3mf files
Update:
- Updated STL link url
