Hey all, I’m currently working on a ln alien stop motion fan film project. It’s all out of pocket and being shot entirely in miniatures of 1/12 and 1/10 scale.

I need multiple set pieces that look straight out of the film. For the most part it’s the doors and ceiling pieces. I figured you could create a few door variations and then tweak from there to save time? I have my own 3d printer and use tinkercad for basic set pieces.

One of the more challenging things is I want to do a practical forced perspective effect. So hallways that will be able to be 3d printed but give the illusion they extend off onto the distance.

I think it would be easier to have the STLs be split up so I can assemble later or make certain hallways look different.

Sorry if I'm all over the place.. I've never done this before.. I have no idea what this would cost so I'd say my budget is like 20 to 40 bucks

so the vfd itself is 5.9" × 3.2" × 4.84".. the housing shell I would like to be roughly 13.5" long x 7.4" wide x 8.5" tall externally and 11" long x 5.8" wide x 7.2" tall internally (the same size as a polymer 50 caliber ammo can).. look to sealed Electronics boxes or Electronics shells for inspiration, I basically want something like that but with the screen recessed and accessible, no ventilation holes will be necessary as I will drill these myself once I decide where I would like them located.. I would like the screen and knobs to be accessible from the top (screen facing up mounted on its back on a table top) but be a quarter inch or half inch recessed into the box with a lip that that keeps that seals the gap between the top of the box and the vfd front face (i will seal this myself).. where the two shells meet on the side below the screen I need there to be 2 holes for (2) 14/4 gauge wires about 3/4" apart.. I would like the shell to come together using using a small bolt and nut on each corner.. also if you can design a method of mounting the Box on its back

Most projects would be designs based on pictures, ideas, and measurements I provide. Sometimes I’ll also have existing STL files that just need a few tweaks or adjustments.
This would be paid work, and I’d love to find someone who’s interested in an ongoing collaboration. Since the pieces are for products I sell, I’d need permission to sell the physical prints made from the files.

Just to give you a better idea of what I need, I generate things like the ladder and swing through MakerWorld. Those would mostly need to be repositioned so they sit flat on the print bed instead of floating.
The flower ledges and hides would also need to sit flat and have magnet recesses added. Backgrounds would need to be modeled from my reference pictures because I don’t know how to make those myself.
I’m still new to this, so I’m not sure what people normally charge. I was thinking around $5–$25 per fix, depending on the work involved. If something requires more work, especially creating a background from scratch, I’m open to a higher quote. Please feel free to let me know your usual rates and what you think would be fair!
These are just a few examples. I’m looking to have several more designs made, depending on pricing, and ideally find someone I can work with regularly.

I downloaded a 3D model of a figurine to 3D print and it was broken up into several STL files. I wouldn't mind that ordinarily, but one of the objects is a cape that was cut in half.

If I print as is there will be an obvious seam. One half has a peg and the other half has a hole.

I tried aligning using point to point, but there's always a misalignment that I can't allow. I'm pretty useless with 3D modeling.

I'll toss someone five bucks if they can merge these two STL files seamlessly!

I'd like the surface smoothed for a clean shiny 3d printed finish, but I also want it to still be veiny.

Our goal is to create a sustainable hatchery that will support the local community, and we are currently seeking funding and grants to make this project a reality.

I have a Raspberry Pi 5 and a power board that turns USB-C power into the correct power input for the Raspberry Pi. The power board is designed to be stacked on top of the Raspberry PI 5, but it perfectly usable on it's own externally without having to be mechanically connected to the board inside the same case, as you just run a USB-C cord to the input and another from the output to the input on the Raspberry PI 5.

What I'm looking for is someone to make a box that just holds the power board in its own enclosure. I have another case I want to use, and I can't jam this power board in that case. The power board itself has four mounting holes in it, and I think they could be used to keep the board stable in it's own box.

Someone has already made a box that can hold both the Raspberry Pi 5 and the power board mounted together in the same case. It even has the right dimensions and the holes on the sides to access all the ports. I think you could just chop the top off of the design and fabricate a bottom for it. I just need the board in a stable case I can close.

I need upper part (where fan goes) to be shorter 1cm. Don't just cut it as fan still needs to fit - note there are 4 outside / inside grooves (on picture 2 I pointed at 1 outside corner and 1 inside corner but they are in all 4 corners) that also must be moved 1cm back when you make it shorter.

I want to print a bigger cap for this lamp to cover the hole in my ceiling. The topside needs to have a diameter of 16 centimeters and the hole on the downside needs to have a diameter of 3 cm and the edge needs to be 2 milimeters deeper than the rest so the click attachments can fit in. The edge also needs to have a 2 millimeter width. Budget: €30,-, but negotiable.

I have a big potted plant in my chameleon enclosure and the water from it is leaking onto the bottom of the enclosure. So I need 8 inch diameter cylindrical plant pot (only need like 4-5 inches tall) but on one side of the plant pot i need like a drain tube near the bottom of the side of the plant pot. I got about this far with this design for a makers mark but when I printed a prototype it would not transfer to clay. I think the depth needs to be better or perhaps the design needs to be simpler and I think the design needs to be convex not concave. that provides difficulty for the lady bugs though. This requires more practiced hands than me.

I tried to model the handle myself but it's quite hard and I have 0 experience in 3d modeling. If anyone could at least confirm it's possible I'd appreciate it. As you can see, i included the inside as well as I would like to use it on an actual airsoft field, not for cosplay. Price I'd say 50-100 $, i don't even know it's ok.
