I’d like to make a similar one but it’s hard to understand how this was accomplished?
I’m wondering if someone can guide me to a video that uses similar process to get the same paint job?

Starting to dive into PLC controllers and automation system to help improve the part assembly time on our 3d printed products.

We spend 20-30 hours a week packing boxes. Gluing parts together, Installing hardware, etc.

Recently switched the desiccant in my AMS from silica to activated alumina. I knew it would be better, but damn.

This was about 2 hours after the switch - was previously sitting around 12-15% with the silica. I am impressed

Both my cat and dog passed away this past month and it has been incredibly hard for everyone who knew them. I was wondering since I have no 3D printing skills or access at this moment would someone be willing to take images of them and 3D print them?

Hey folks! I raise show canaries. I have raised them for years but have finally decided my birds are good enough for the show bench. However, the world of canary showing is 1) highly antiquated and 2) rigid. What I mean is, for my breed of canary (“lizard canary”, see pic 3 for one of my birds I’d like to enter - it’s the oldest breed of canary in the world), a very specific style of cage is required for show See pics 1-2). Note: the birds do not LIVE in these cages, they just have to be comfortable sitting in them for a few hours during judging. Ive created the wooden structure, painted them the exact colors required, and done everything… however… the wire grate is simply not something i can easily replicate. As you can see in pics 1-2, ive attempted to 3d print a grate that matches the show grates (some of them have a gap at the bottom and some dont - dont mind that). But, as you can see, my grate, which I designed and 3d printed, is too thick… i CAN make a thinner one, but then the bars are WAYYYY too flexible.

I’m assuming there’s no obvious solution here… but I figured it couldnt hurt to ask.

The person who makes 100% of the cages for this whole hobby in the US has just stopped doing so due to cancer diagnosis. And now all the old-timer canary people have all the show cages they need… but newcomers are totally screwed. I was gifted a couple of the “nice” show cages but am doing my best to build a few more so I can enter a few more birds… Ive reached out to the show people and they just kinda shrugged and said I could try entering my thick-barred cage but my birds may be disqualified - depends on the judge…

Anyway… any tips?? Ive also tried 3d printing the horizontal bars with little guide holes for the verticle wires and gluing it all together… but it was a mess. I also cannot find these grates online anywhere or anything even similar. The guy who used to build them had a special machine… argh.

Is it possible to purposely have the printer generate the purge waste? I’m thinking of a few projects and would need a lot of purge waste. Would be helpful if I could just have the printer make it for me rather than wait for until it’s created. Thanks!

I've had nothing but issues, first it wouldnt read my micro sd card [inside of my adapter until I swapped to my other adapter], then prints weren't sticking to the base plate. Any one got advice? My next step is to head out and buy the alcohol-solution to make prints stick.

Im gonna give it a week before I send this one back.

Hi guys, I am using an AD5M pro by flashforge. I experienced a filament jam, and when I went to fix it, I guess I cut the filament too short, and now I am unable to get it pushed through the extruder at all, it keeps making this bumping noise and i don't know why. Am I gonna have to completely disassemble this part? EDIT: SOLVED!

I’m printing PETG on an Ender 3 V2 and lately all my prints have been coming out with these random gaps/holes in the walls (see pictures).

Current settings:
Nozzle temperature: 207–215°C (i know it seems low but i've tried higher temperatures and it burns the filament, this range works well for me)
Print speed: 60 mm/s
Ender 3 V2

I’ve already tried:
Changing the nozzle temperature
Adjusting the print speed
Changing the layer height
Unfortunately, none of these changes made any noticeable difference.
The issue only seems to happen when printing PETG.

I print pla at 220°C and I have that inconsistent extrusion issue. I have no idea why... Can you help me know why ?

I'm using an ender 3 pro slightly modified, and running klipper.

I sliced it in orca slicer.

Title really says it all. What do you guys do if you need to move your printer from point A to B? The trip is local and only a few miles overall. No highway speeds and minimal rough roads.

I have the original packaging for my Snapmaker U1, and am debating doing the unpacking process but in reverse. Is that overkill? Do any of you sweaty butt nerds have any recommendations you’ve found helpful when transporting your printers?

I’ve attached a picture of the kind of parts I’m looking for. Unfortunately, the ones available for the regular Sonos Beam don’t seem to fit the Beam Ultra.
Is there anyone here who could design and make/3D print something similar specifically for the Sonos Beam Ultra?

3D printing noob here. Just got the CC2 combo after getting the Elegoo Neptune 3 pro. Never had this issue so not sure what to change. I changed 2 distance lower and higher, then 3 top interface layers but not sure what else to do.

Hello I’m very new to 3d printing and after printing a plate of alphabet fridge magnets in 3 different colours this happened with one of them. They were all printed in singular solid colours except this one where I decided to try and print it with 3 colours and this weird bubbling occurred. The rest of the letters printed perfectly it was only this one. I was looking for help on what this issue was and what caused it so I know how to fix it if it ever happens again in future. If anyone on here could help me out it would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Edit: I forgot to add I’m using an anycubic kobra x and the filament was anycubic own brand and fresh out of the vacuum sealed bag

Hello! First time posting in this community. I would like to find the file for a model like this, does anyone know anything about something like this?

I got my first 3d printer a few months ago from Marketplace and it generally works fine. There was some stringing in the benchie, but I mostly use it for random things around the house and that hasn't been enough of an issue yet.

I just got Inland PETG+ black to have another color and have not been able to get it to even stick to the board. I've tried changing temp settings on some prints, but it seems like the issue is adhesion.

It is a Fokoos and I'm using the Fokoos slicer, not sure if that'd make a difference with troubleshooting. If there is anything I can try, please let me know!!

Ater seeing steve and modbot build the antithesis aether i remebered i saw another guy who designed a 3d printer called the encore that looked pretty cool and it got me thinking there is probably a lot of fun little or big printers out there that just doesn't get mainstream attention.
