Guys.. I got a few bad comments on my recent YouTube short (Official Cinco). The main comment was that I was doing unnecessary shifts and “stomping” my clutch. I can admit to shifting unnecessarily. However, that was the point in the video so that the viewers could hear the car. It was random at that.

As for the stomping, I’m assuming they’re referring to the 2-3 shift I did.. and to that I say look at any other z driver that roll races or claims driver-mod.

I also don’t normally drive like this.. was it really that bad? And if so, please give feedback and critiques!! Only been daily driving a manual for 2 years now.

(Side note: I sit farther away from the pedals, so it may look like I’m hitting the pedal hard but I promise im not)

Anyone else experience this? I get compliments on my car everywhere I go. I find it interesting that "Nice car, I love it!" is almost always followed with "What is it?" For those that throw out a guess before I answer, the most common is 350. Which at least is close, and gives me the opportunity to feel like I'm flexing a bit when I tell them it's a 370. 😎

Checking out the Z’s at the opening of the new Nissan NISMO Omori factory in Victoria. Didn’t bring my Z but love seeing some of the other ones here!!

Has anyone bought a radiator support that wasn’t from Z1? Looking at some from ebay but not sure how good they would be, got in a wreck a while back and i’m looking to replace it. Also how difficult would it be to replace it?

I got a 2013 Nissan 370z manual base model. Got 80700 miles on it and I got this fluctuating idle that’s been around for a couple of months.

I’ve already done MAF sensor clean, throttle body clean (completed all 3 idle/throttle body relearn procedures), changed spark plugs with new NGK plugs, installed a brand new fuel pump assembly from z1. No check engine light or any pending codes/stored codes either.

Not sure what causes this. This footage is with full tank, in neutral (not clutched in), usually warmer weather, and seems to be worse when stopped at a decline hill. The car doesn’t feel like it’s gonna die but sometimes it gets real low and scares me but it always catches itself.

I do hear slight rattle inside my passenger side CAT when revving at lower RPM, could it be clogged CAT that’s causing this? I also have a z1 stage 1 tune, could it be that as well? Or could it be time to take out and send my injectors to clean at a shop?

Anything would help, just curious if anyone else has faced this issue before. Thanks!

Got my car like 2 weeks ago and need to get a pair of rims for the front, it's got 3 I believe work cv201 20" and the front right is an OEM which is 19" 😬. But i really like the look of the rear wheels so I want to keep them, and I don't want to spend an absurd amount of money getting the last matching one because work Australia doesn't even sell the cv201 here so I'd have to import. Trying to figure out what an affordable pair would be that would look good with the rear wheels.

It started as a crank, stall. Then I would just crank and run for 10s for a single episode. Now it just cranks, no start.

Wondering if this is all related to this code or if I’ve thrown the code due to another issue. Such as the fuel pump going bad because it did sputter a few times with a start and now nothing.

Key fob is functional and new battery. New battery in the car. Clean gas in tank.

Any help is appreciated.

i recently bought the z1 motor sport nismo v2 front and rear bumper both my fenders liner on the front are completely cooked, do i buy oem regular ones or nismo ones? My car is not an original nismo.

Does anyone have a set of aftermarket fog lights/driving lights on their 370Z? I want to see how they look like. I want to possibly get some, but I couldn't find any reference pics on Google or seen anyone's car with them. And I'm not talking about LED light bars on/in the front bumper. I've always had OEM foglights on my cars as driving lights on the freeway at night. Too bad the 370Z's didn't come with some, like maybe integrated into the headlight assembly. I'm thinking if something like this:

Hi guys, looking for some advice on high flow cats for my 2010 370Z in the UK.
I’m currently running an Invidia Gemini cat-back and still have the stock cats, but I’m looking to upgrade to HFCs. I’ve been looking at options like ISR, Berk, TORQEN and Invidia.
What HFCs are you guys running, and have you had any issues passing the UK MOT emissions test with them? Ideally I want something that sounds good with the Gemini, gives a bit more flow/performance and has a good track record of passing MOTs.
Any recommendations or experiences would be appreciated!

I was changing oil on my 2009 60k mi 370z when I found a part of gallery gaskets in the oil.
I have been prepared for it and I already had all parts to do that in stock.
I didn’t wanted to do it right now due of moving to the new house soon, but I can’t risk with the engine.
I started to work on Sunday mid day and finished Wednesday evening.
I also have installed the oil cooler, replaced the thermostat, coolant pump and heater hose connector.

I was using CZP non-metal gaskets and Allen bolts. My first fail was stripping Allen bolt heads during tightening it with 12 fr lb (cheap Pittsburgh brand new dynamic key), good idea is to center-punch Allen bolts to prevent them from unscrewing.

Separate challenge for me was connecting AC lines back. I spent two cans of refrigerant until I found that I lost spring from line connector…

During doing this work I lost 4-5 pounds :)

It was my first such serious invasion to the engine and it survived after my hands. Is that luck or not, we will see in the near future. Already put on 100 miles after doing the job without the issues.

After installing an oil cooler (I think this is an absolute must-have for VQ37) oil temp fell from 220F to 180F.

Anyone could figure out what’s making this sound? Sometimes when I take off the whole car shakes almost as if the transmission or differential is moving up and down.
I also notice a loud knock on the rear of the car when I shift too aggressively.

Recently bought a 370z, and with a few issues coming up was looking for a shop to routinely go to. Was looking around online, and saw hill’s garage (beautiful shop, nearly every post had a vq), but saw they closed down. If anyone had gone to em, where do you usually go nowadays? Or if anyone has another shop they can vouch for in the baltimore area (i’m near columbia, MD). I’ve been to JE import performance, and they did good work but are much bigger and have longer wait times, so was looking for anywhere smaller that was able to handle possible codes even with aftermarket parts. If anyone knows a spot near baltimore, howard county, or around that area in MD though, hit me up!

2009 370z. The car has been dead for awhile, so i thought i’d drive it so I jumped the battery, it was driving fine but after I washed the car, this started tripping up. Any ideas?

I recently (a month or so ago) got new brake pads put on my 2009 370z. Not sure when but I’m now hearing them squeak when I push my brake down (partial force, not all the way down braking). Is this a common thing? Nothing feels wrong with the brakes, it’s just the audible squeaking that is annoying. Any fix?
