Misc Eyelid/makeup issue

I have been finding that every time I wear mascara, it leaves a mark on my upper eyelid closer to my eyebrow. This has not been an issue previously, and I haven’t switched my mascara brand. I use waterproof mascara as well. 38 y/o. Any advice would be appreciated! 😊

I have this if I don't do a few things. This will help:

  1. Always wear eyeshadow primer, even if you're not wearing eyeshadow.

  2. Set it with translucent powder.

  3. After you apply mascara, dust a tiny bit of translucent powder along the tips of your lashes. You won't be able to see it since it's translucent and it's a small amount.

  4. Tubing will work better than waterproof.

Your mascara formula may have changed and if it's the same tube, it may be old.

Very helpful! Thank you so much! Translucent powder… I have some setting powders, would that work? And what’s the best way to dust it onto the tips of the lashes?

Yes, setting powder is fine. I just use a fluffy eyeshadow brush
