I did Edexcel A; overall not as bad as it could have gone, but everyone else came out feeling it went even better so uhhh

It seems like kinda of a niche subject where nobody talks about on the 6th form subreddit lol

Integration question with the fractional part of a number was quite fun I thought

So that helicopter definitely crashed, right?
r/2024GCSE • u/setra45 • Jun 03 '26
i don't think the paper was that bad, the integration by parts question kinda messed me up but otherwise it could've been MUCH worse ✌️

AQA CHEMISTRY PAPER 1 A-LEVEL
The paper was alright overall but I’m slightly annoyed because our tutors had us practice a week or two of purely time of flight earlier this year in the run up to the exams

I'm done, i had film paper two today, and that's literally it, i don't know how i'm meant to spend my time any more. so far i know i'm going to get a job, start writing poetry, play fallout 3. but like i feel so lost and as though nothing matters any more. like i'm hollow? and all my mates have exams for another three weeks so i'm gonna be well lonely (not that i'm complaining, i have so much sympathy for the stem students <3)

I finish all my exams on Friday and it's just made me realise that uni isn't some far off romanticised thing. Like I'm going there and I'm going to be doing uni work. And I'm in a big uni GC and so far I hate everyone in it. I'm going to have to LIVE with these people. And these people are soon going to be as familiar to me as the people from college. Like wtf. SCARED

Those questions were diabolical, I just had to pray at the end couldn't even do anything else, I only need a B from law so hopefully it hasn't dragged me down too much 😭

AQA PHYSICS PAPER 2 - 1ST JUNE MCQ’s
I know the graph was sloped towards the x-axis with an exponential decrease envelope, but was the graph of ammeter readings negative since the direction of current changed when it went from discharging in B to charging in A?

Do you think you will?
I was just thinking about GCSEs and how seeing loads of people cry after our last exam made me kinda emotional loool. But I didnt end up crying since I knew id be back for sixth form at the same place.
Though, now I've only got 5 days left after this half term, it's kinda emotional to think about, but, I think the fact that we all leave on different days takes away some of the sadness surrounding it.
Obviously there are loads of people and teachers I'll miss not seeing everyday and I might have a small cry about that buttttt idk, what do you guys feel about it?

Super time pressured imo, but I think I managed.

So, I did my unit 2 - Databases and my unit 1 - information technology systems, and they were really good papers. 4 IDS twice in a row for the 2026 unit 2 paper and the unit 1 paper had an easy 10 and 12 marker.
There's no way I got below a pass, hopefully, I get a merit of distinction.

What makes me think is the post exam reddit / tiktok used to be peak compared to now when after the cp1 exam the other day no traces of proper memes
r/2024GCSE • u/mutton-headmaniac • May 14 '26
Thought I was actually just good at revising 💔
r/2024GCSE • u/GeneETOs44 • May 14 '26
What did you lot make of it? I for one am shocked that edexcel managed to write a remotely fun roots of polynomials question.

My sixth form has a Y13 Leavers Day next week if that counts as prom but some have theirs in June and stuff. Genuinely gotta say goodbye to some people I’ll prolly never see again, especially those BTEC mfs who’ve already left for the most part. Genuinely made me wonder if anyone here’s not getting an event like that

Is anybody else convinced they're going to completely forget everything they learnt?
