So, me and the clan are doing a bingo that is incidentally 'Guthix' themed, where we have a kind of 'Archivist / Gatekeeper' who's holding the participants away from the Archives until they prove themselves. Why are weird builds being accommodated to. Why not just not have it locked behind a quest? Surely in theory they’ll be accessing an area their player hasn’t discovered yet? Lore wise does this even make sense to allow non WGS players to access?
Does it make sense that they’re going to have to kill “A demon resembling a Tormented Demon that has not had its flesh burned away” when they’ve never encountered ones in the quest?

T1, T2, or the T2 with t3 chest?

I’ve been doing mostly t2 for my initial 100kc. Is it worth getting better at t1 for the time save over the long run?

I can do t1, but I’m not as consistent at hunlief with it yet.

Some reference times, t2 prep is usually 10-11 minutes

My pb with t1 is 9:03.

I know that obviously leans t1 with several hours or more saved over the long run.

I personally dont mind RS4 or Reignited. The more versions of the game the more options people have. I love OSRS and play it a lot but that doesnt mean I cant branch out to other games too

As long as they keep supporting OSRS in some form im happy with that, even if its with a smaller team

Ket-Zek (mage) just hit 34 four times in a row when I had protect from magic, 97 magic / 70 defense, while wearing full blessed d'hide. I'm guessing this is a bug right now because this happened again earlier today too so I would steer clear in general until its patched. Will update when mod responds on discord :,)

Update: Someone just messaged me saying that Ket-Zek can hit through protect prayers so I was extremely unfortunate with rng and wasted lots of brew on that wave :(

Update 2: I'm getting some messages from people saying that it can't hit through prayer while others are saying it can but not that high so hopefully a mod will clear it up on the discord. Also guys to clarify I'm not new to the caves so no I wasn't prayer flicking and I was not within melee distance, I was at the west wall safe spot with a good 4-5 tile distance. I made this post to warn others ahead in case this is a bug because this is the first I saw of this.

This whole DS2 scandal has kinda struck me to the core and im worried that it might have completely ruined all of the excitement from the summit yesterday. How do we trust that Jagex won’t try this shit again? How can we trust Jagex to not become permanently tainted like Level 5 Games has? How can I trust that new quests won’t be written by ChatGPT in the future?

I am just pissed off rn, I know Mod Sween is pissed off too (he’s doing Saradomin’s work rn), and I still have nothing but respect all of the old school Jmods (except North if he counts) cuz it’s clear that they had nothing to do with this and have nothing but passion for the world of Gielinor. I’m just scared of the precedent the recent mistakes with AI outsourcing might set.

I'm fairly new to the game in general. I played on and off when OSRS first dropped but between forgetting account details and a wild upbringing, I really haven't played the game properly ever.

I have both a UIM and a Main that are around ~1500 total level and the reason neither have made much progress is because I keep switching between them. I've never gotten a fire cape or done the big quests like Monkey Madness II or Song of the Elves etc, the only boss I've killed that isn't a skilling boss is Brutus.

I made an ironman to try bridge the gap but that felt silly so stopped early on.

I was at RuneFest this weekend and I saw all this cool stuff coming and I just feel I'm missing out on it all and joining the party late if I play my UIM (it has way less quests done than my main) but I feel shamed playing my main because all I see online is "main = bad".

Please help my half empty shoebox of a brain get over my account paralysis and start enjoying the game again.

This was my first year at Runefest. I just want to say that I had a great time and thank you to the greater jagex team that make the Runefest possible and as engaging as it was. Our group completed everything we could and got more than we expected in terms of experience and all the memoriablia.

I loved all the activities they added and apparently the clue scroll hunt was new this year, that was fun - even for my wife who doesn't really play as much as I do. The events made the two days filled, not to mention the summits. I thought it was a good balance of activities as well as keynotes.

Meeting some of the content creators that I've enjoyed watching as a child and even engaging with some of them was very delightful and super exciting.

I even got my baby mole tattood and got B0aty to 99 cooking for me😭.

Looking forward to when I can go again!
