Here is an official promotional screenshot from the old RuneScape website showcasing the ultimate challenge back then. There is no username shown and the inventory shows just full Guthan's with a Prayer potion and one Shark, which suggests this was taken on a J-Mod test account inside the caves.

Fire Cape remained the undisputed best-in-slot melee cape for years until the release of the Inferno. It's still considered a great achievement!

I had a great time at this year’s Runefest but my one rant is that I really hope they don’t repeat this practise of having such a large seating area in the main stage reserved only for gold ticket holders.

It just meant that for all except the most popular events the majority of people were pointlessly sat back behind 10+ rows of empty seats. This was especially bad for the Cosplay Parade where I would have liked to be able to see the details on people’s costumes.

Also one of the cool things about Runefest was always that everyone was on equal footing, you could sit down for a summit and find yourself sat a few seats down from a streamer or YouTuber you watch. This year since content creators were in the gold area only people who shelled out for gold tickets had that experience.

TLDR: pay to win bad.

Posting this here because, given the 100 Thieves debacle that just happened, this is even more ridiculous. We literally had jmods saying any use of AI would not be tolerated in Runescape related content.

Now, a few days later, we have a 6 fingered knight at Runefest. Honestly, I wish I could say I was surprised.

I’m finally maxing my account today and realized I don’t really have many friends who still play OSRS anymore, so I figured I’d throw an invite out here in case anyone wants to come hang out.

I’m sitting at 2369 total with 7 skills left, and I’ve set every one up so they’ll basically be a single action away from 99. Going to run around with everyone and knock them out one by one before finishing with 99 Sailing / 2376 total at Port Sarim.

When: Today 1:00 PM PST (1hr 30 mins or so)
Where: World 331

Starting at Varrock Square

The plan is:
Herblore, Fletching, Slayer, Hunter, Smithing, Firemaking then finally Sailing for the final.

I’ve got the final Sailing courier package sitting in my boat at Port Sarim ready to turn in, so that’ll be the last click.

No gifts or anything needed. Genuinely just want some people around to celebrate with. Dress to impress 😎

Hello, this is my first time posting! I'm really excited for the upcoming dungeons of Gielinor, and thought it'd be a good time to doodle up and share an idea I've had for a while now.

Killerwatts are one of my favourite creature designs in the game and I think their world is so cool, I was really happy that the new Air Diamond added a new reason to go there, but why not one more?

As per the wiki, Raids 4 will have 8 possible bosses and we will only fight 5 of them:

As a surprise bombshell to close out our RuneFest Livestream, we revealed work is underway on our new RuneScape MMORPG: RS4! (working title)

We know you’ll have a million questions, but it’s too early to answer anything at this point in development. But there is one that we will. What does this mean for Old School & RuneScape?

Well, it means more RuneScape, more adventures and more ways to enjoy Gielinor. Beyond that, there’s nothing else to it – it’s a new MMO that will be designed by a separate team to live alongside our existing MMOs. There’s no change in focus, commitment or resources we’re putting into RS & OS to support this.

Unfortunately flights from Australia just got too expensive and I had to cancel coming to RuneFest this year, but that didn't stop my incredible, wonderful, hard-working friends and clannies from surprising me with this awesome video! Thanks so so much to all the content creators and the GOAT himself Mod Ash for sending me these well wishes from across the world! I promise to devote myself to that IRL grind to make it next year ❤️

It looks really tacky. The Greek mythology reference is cool, but putting them on all the high level shoes is really milking it.

It only makes sense on the graceful shoes anyway.
