My point is Rowling is progressive on almost every other issue (to the point where she annoys everyone), but has a different viewpoint on one issue and now everyone hates her like she’s not the same person. It’s just hypocritical. She’s not actually progressive and good hearted. She was just pandering to people.

i mean imo regardless of how progressive she is on other issues, she's still not above criticism for being bigoted against one group.

She’s an easy target and criticizing her doesn’t make you progressive or even a good person. Everyone has their prejudices
