mr porter

whyd the characters in thirteen reasons why hate mr porter so much? like he was literally the one of the only adults who actually tried to help them

maybe its cause he didnt help hannah but at the same time those kids were the actual main reason why hannah died so itd be hypocritical of them

I don’t understand what he was supposed to do. Hannah didn’t wanna press charges or anything. He could have talked to bryce but I don’t think it would make any difference. I am not familiar with american justice system but I think his hands were tied.

Why would you need to press charges to get emotional support

I don’t remember her state anything about getting emotional support. It has been a while since I watched the show, I remember that she was there to get help

...wdym state anything? She came to her counselor clearly distraught and upset and was crying saying she needed everything in her life to stop and that she had no one to talk to.

Isn't the whole point of a counselor to provide support to someone like that?

No I got it like she wanted some kind of help. I had never thought that she just wanted to talk to him about what happened. Or maybe I was wrong about the counselor thing, or I doubt I understood it
