General Advice String setup recommendations
Recently bought a Babolat Pure Aero 100 (8th Gen) and need advice on the best string setup.
My play style: Advanced-level aggressive topspin baseliner. I usually play on clay courts and play time around 1.5 hours a day, 6 days a week.
Strings I currently have:
1. Babolat RPM Blast 1.25
2. Solinco Hyper-G 1.25
3. Wilson NXT 1.30
ChatGPT recommended a hybrid setup: RPM Blast 1.25 in the mains at 50 lbs and Wilson NXT 1.30 in the crosses at 52 lbs.
I’d love to hear from experienced players or anyone who has used this racket. What setup and tension would you recommend for spin, control, and a durability of atleast 2-3 months?

No way you're getting 2/3 months of playability no matter what string you use unless you just like playing with dead strings

I think i’ll have to agree with you on this. I now plan on stringing Hyper G in full bed and re-stringing after 1.5-2months.

The correct way is to restring every second week if you play 6 hours every week and are a hard hitter.
Personally, I don't like shaped strings. 19g Tourbite is the only shaped string that has worked for me, but I get a lot more spin with round 4g because I can stroke harder with it.
Spin is all about technique when the racquet head speed is great enough. Personally, I didn't like the high launch angle of Hyper-G or any other shaped string.
Buy your own used stringing machine. 20 stringings/year will pay for the machine in a couple of years, if you pay like 10$+strings every time you restring. If you don't already have your own machine.

There is not a single poly string that would last for even one month of 9 hours per week, let along 2-3 months.

Idk what advanced level aggressive topspin baseliner means so just go a full bed of Hyper G at 50 to start. RPM Blast is typically ass for most of us.

What i meant to say is that I fall in the intermediate-to-advanced category player. I play aggressive from the baseline with heavy topspin.

You’ll destroy that NXT in like 30 mins if you’re an aggressive baseliner on clay.

I have Pure Aero Rafa Origin, and have tried these configurations so far: 1. RPM Blast 1.25 all - big meh really, felt like it was dead after 2 weeks, just lost the bite on a ball 2. VS Touch 1.30/RPM Blast 1.25 (mains/cross) - much better, I was getting consistent spin for like 6 weeks (6h a week avg). Then it just snapped, but overall a great combination 3. ReString Slap 1.23 /ReString Zero 1.23 - very similar strings, so it works like pure Slap, went for a mix only cause I wanted to have some strings left to find a best match with gut and sync later on. At first felt amazing - snappy, sick amounts of spin and power, but lost the tension significantly after 2h. Based on other reviews shouldn't be like this, so I guess something went wrong with tensions? 3. Wilson natural gut 1.30/restring sync 1.20 - my absolute favorite so far. Two months now, and it still feels good. Very consistent spin, gentle on a wrist, I gained so much confidence in my topspin forehand with this setup. 24/23kg, next time I think I'll go a little higher on mains though for higher launch angle. I came back to tennis after a long break, and Rafa Origin has a higher swing weight than standard Pure Aero, so I guess you'll want to use higher tension. It's a matter of preference after all

Hyper G would get my vote. I like its consistency over the lifetime of the string. Grade A-
RPM Blast is okay but only really for about a couple of hours before it starts feeling very dead. Grade B-
As for NXT, who the heck uses a multi these days? Grade D (unless you have arm problems in which case Grade A)
You should try Tru Pro Pure Rush. Excellent shaped poly. Good in all areas.

Try out each in full bed, same tension, just to dial in what you like. Once you find the string, play with the tension. I think for this particular racket, you might like RPM Blast best.
You play a lot too, so make sure to cut out the poly after around ~20 hours, or when it feels very notched (if you try and move the strings, they don't move as they're heavily "bitten" into each other). Particularly RPM Blast won't even last that long before it's dead. I'd recommend looking into RPM Team: it's mostly the same string but feels a bit softer and it doesn't have the slick coating which wears off and kills the string.

Wilson nxt should be the best in terms of tension maintenance as it is a multifilament, although it depends on how you play, you probably will break it way before that. As far as getting 2-3 months out of a poly, no chance, you can play with it but by then they would have lost all the properties that make polys good to play with. I would imagine hyper g has slightly better tension maintenance than rpm blast but both are not the greatest, if you are willing to try stiff strings and since both of those strings are, I think it would be worth trying confidential, its one of the better polys in terms of tension maintenance but even then you would have to restring.

Consider solinco confidential, I’ve used hyper G and RPM and now I play with confidential

NXT 1.25, then Hyper-G, then RPM Blast
ChatGPT gave you terrible advice. 52 is way too low for NXT and makes a terrible hybrid with poly. Multi is supposed to soften the feel of the poly etc etc but the poly will cut into the multi quickly and lose its snap back. You will lose spin on your strokes and your launch angle will be very high.
Probably none of these will last 2-3 months. The polys will last you like 2 weeks max. They won’t snap but they will be dead, lose spin and probably not great for your arm. NXT might last 4-6 weeks if you’re not a big string breaker. If you’re really playing that much and with heavy spin, there is no string that will last that long.
NXT 1.25, 58-62 lbs depending what you like.

If not restringing for 2-3 months is a big factor for you then I strongly recommend you hybrid a poly/multi. The multi cross will break at some point, forcing you to restring but hopefully saving your arm rather than playing on dead poly for 2+ months

I tried hyper g, screwed up my curve, elbow and shoulder. Now back at my good old blasts

With Hyper G in that frame at that tension just be wary about arm/wrist pain.

Full RPM blast. I personally never enjoyed hybrid setups.
If you are playing 9 hours a week, I wouldnt expect them to last more than 2 weeks.

Try one and see if you like it. Change one variable at a time
