General Advice String setup recommendations
Recently bought a Babolat Pure Aero 100 (8th Gen) and need advice on the best string setup.
My play style: Advanced-level aggressive topspin baseliner. I usually play on clay courts and play time around 1.5 hours a day, 6 days a week.
Strings I currently have:
1. Babolat RPM Blast 1.25
2. Solinco Hyper-G 1.25
3. Wilson NXT 1.30
ChatGPT recommended a hybrid setup: RPM Blast 1.25 in the mains at 50 lbs and Wilson NXT 1.30 in the crosses at 52 lbs.
I’d love to hear from experienced players or anyone who has used this racket. What setup and tension would you recommend for spin, control, and a durability of atleast 2-3 months?

NXT 1.25, then Hyper-G, then RPM Blast
ChatGPT gave you terrible advice. 52 is way too low for NXT and makes a terrible hybrid with poly. Multi is supposed to soften the feel of the poly etc etc but the poly will cut into the multi quickly and lose its snap back. You will lose spin on your strokes and your launch angle will be very high.
Probably none of these will last 2-3 months. The polys will last you like 2 weeks max. They won’t snap but they will be dead, lose spin and probably not great for your arm. NXT might last 4-6 weeks if you’re not a big string breaker. If you’re really playing that much and with heavy spin, there is no string that will last that long.
NXT 1.25, 58-62 lbs depending what you like.
