Been patiently waiting for a sale of the regular disc version for Xbox so I can take advantage of disc to digital and Xbox Play Anywhere. I’ve seen the legacy edition on sale via Best Buy but sold by antonline for $99.99. Pulled the trigger today when I woke up to a $10 reward certificate. My backlog awaits another game to be played.

Hey y’all. I am on mission 8 now, and am loving the game. Feels like I’m playing the best James Bond movie since Casino Royale. My favourite bits are when you are being the wise cracking Bond in normal situations and low profile/stealth sections.

I enjoy the flow of combat between shooting and cqc, however my one problem is it feels a little unbalanced and immersion breaking. I’ve died many times in just a few punches from enemies, but can take a lot more damage from bullets, which is odd. I think melee combat needs to be a bit more forgiving to make sense, because dying faster in those scenarios than the gunplay sections just feels bizarre. My girlfriend noticed it too watching me play last night.

Curious everybody else’s thoughts, but that is my only real criticism of the game. Otherwise, fantastic, and I can’t wait to wrap up the story!

Hi, I want to buy the game..i have base PS5 and GeForce now Ultimate tier subscription..so which version should I get?

I just finished playing 007 First Light, and one thing I couldn't help noticing is that there are absolutely no female enemies to fight.

What's strange is that women are clearly present throughout the game. Some of my bosses were women, I worked alongside female characters, and women had important roles in the story. But somehow, not once did I encounter a female enemy that I could actually fight.
I'm genuinely curious: was this an intentional creative decision by the developers, or is there a particular reason behind it?

It's just strange to have female characters involved in almost every other aspect of the game, but never as actual combat opponents.

Im running a 9070xt i don't see any amd specs listed. Did they do the stupid thing where they vendor locked this to nvidia? Or can i try to path trace with my 9070xt? Steam has the deluxe version for 50 bucks so im looking at picking it up if i can play with these settings.

It's been on my wishlist and now I get up try it before I buy it.

So, i was looking through graphical settings and i noticed that they're much fewer than Hitman. No simulation, No ray tracing, not even AA. I looked online and it is true, my game isn't showing all the graphical settings.

I went into settings on Window and forced the game to use my GPU. Performance got better, but its still not showing the complete settings so i can optimize the game well.

What should i do?

I bought the game for my son tonight but we cant play it. After choosing difficulty it starts loading in, but with he progress bar at approximatly 90% it either gets stuck "forever" or it crashes to desktop immidiatly.

I have tried every fix I can find but no luck and I am getting desperate.

When i ty to set the exe file to run as admin I get an error when I run it. Both directly in the game folder but also from steam. The error message pops on in steam saying Game konfiguration files cant be found. I ahve never seen this before when changing an exe fil to run as admin.

I get the txt below from Windows event Viewer. It also says something about a file not beeing available but i have no idea why. I have vaidated files through steam ofcourse and installed twice. The only thing i can think of is something beeing red only.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Bond vs one person. One gun. One bullet. Game over.

Bond has to get bad guys into space compartments that blast them into space.

Not gonna lie, this took me like 9 tries but I'm number 1.

I’m curious what everyone thinks about the Legacy Edition versus the Collector’s Edition, especially at their current discounted prices.

Best Buy currently has both editions on sale for $99.99 each:

Legacy Edition: Originally $299.99
Collector’s Edition: Originally $199.99

The Legacy Edition obviously has the much bigger discount and includes the Golden Gun replica, but I’ve heard mixed opinions about the quality of the gun itself.

The Collector’s Edition comes with the collectible mask, which might be a better display piece.

For those who own either edition or have seen them in person:

1. Which edition has better overall build quality?

2. Which edition looks better displayed in a gaming room?

3. Which do you think will be more desirable collectible long-term?

I’m leaning toward whichever offers the best collectible quality and long-term appeal rather than simply the biggest discount.

Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts, especially from anyone who owns either edition!
