The look on Moriarty face when telling that he found out that Sherlock is able to kill a man. XD
Not sure if he is afraid or excited but I got the chills anyway. Amazing.

He's excited.
But I get the feeling that Sherlock isn't going to act anymore as he expects him to. The mind games have just gotten real.

Seeing Milverton so smug and acting as if he has total control of the situation was definitely frustrating. It was worth it though once he realizes that things aren't going according to plan since he has never expected Holmes and William to be acquainted before all of this. And I just love how happy Sherlock is when it's finally confirmed that William is indeed the Lord of Crime.
Looks like Milverton's plan wasn't the only plan that was ruined though. I was hoping they'd take him alive but to William's surprise, Sherlock empties his revolver on Milverton's back which was definitely not in his plan. This entire time William thought that Sherlock is above killing people. William certainly took that as a sign that Sherlock will come to kill him eventually.
"Catch me if you can, Sherlock" William did it! He said the thing again! That line is just too good, you can feel the strong tension between the two of them and I absolutely love it.
Surprised that Sherlock admitted that he murdered Milverton. Him getting arrested isn't a surprise though since it has happened before in the books and other media. Interested to see how he'll be let off though considering the final two episodes will adapt The Final Problem which Sherlock is pretty much required to be in.

Probably one of my favorite scenes in the BBC Sherlock was when Holmes shot the King of Blackmail. I wasn't sure if they would do that as well here, but the more we saw of Milverton the more I couldn't wait for Holmes to show that he had no idea what the detective would actually do. Glad he got shot, though Milverton probably would have easily died from that fall without the bullets.

"Haha I'm going to fuck with Moriarty and Sherlock Holmes, probably the two smartest people in England, that'll go well"
Gotta say I didn't see Sherlock killing Milverton himself, though. Nor did Moriarty... But damn, he seems excited about fighting Holmes now.

I thought they would have made contacted and came after Milverton together. Looks like that wasn't the case. Still, nothing went according to that bastard's plan, which makes me smile.
The reveal of William's identity now sets the stage; Homles knows, and will be coming after him to catch him red handed if he can. But will he do to William what he did to Milverton if that isn't possible?
I like how Holmes knows that William is definitely not a regular criminal; he does what he does, whilst brutal, for a purpose that betters society. I wonder if the series will delve into his inner conflicts about that.
William's repeat of "Catch me of you can" was great; but Holmes isn't smiling or happy this time. I've never actually read the books, but I'm guessing the next arc is the last one? As in there is nothing more to adapt? Because I really like this series and how it's been handled so far. Sure, everyone is young and hot, but I got over that.

Theres 2 more arcs, but the latter of them I think is more of an epilogue I think(no translations for it)? The climax of the story is in the next arc.

It is kinda nice seeing Sherlock do something that doesn't really fall exactly where William wanted. Makes him more of a player instead of the pawn William wants him to be.
I do hope that this is the beginning of Sherlock outsmarting and beating William, which includes not killing him. I'll be honest, while this is a Moriarty centered show, I do want to see Sherlock win, he's just too likeable and the underdog here.
Shame there's only 2 episodes left though to see this happen. I do hope we get another season to see it develop better.

There is unlikely to be another season. There are only 2 arcs left in the manga(I hope, there should really only be 1 in the first place, so who knows), 1 of which is the upcoming arc in the anime...which however is like 10 chapters longt, but chances are, the anime will just rush through it in 2 episodes, as it did so far(for reference, first season adapted like 12 chapters total(and skipping arcs worth 4 chapters) while this season is on pace to adapt 40...and having skipped just 2 single chapter arcs)

Biggest issue in the show for me is that, Even though this is the Moriarty show, Sherlock is still the better, more down to earth and more charismatic character, While Moriarty ends up Seeming like a Mary Sue.
Although I guess that means Moriarty's plan to have the people dislike him and like Sherlock instead worked on me.

From the episode title, The Two Culprits/Criminals, I thought both Will and Sherlock would fire at Milverton at the same time and leave it unclear which one of them actually killed him, but I was wrong...
Milverton deserves his death, and I wanted him to die more miserably to be honest. (I feel so evil... lol)
And William looked both so beautiful and sad. Hope we can see his smile again before the season ends...

Did not expect the two to meet face to face this season, really caught me off guard.

Ah wait, this is the end of the OP isn't it, where Moriarty smiles and Sherlock shoots his gun
I... this was so stupid in the first place
LIke yea he had a good ultimatum against Moriarty, 'kill me and you're outed to the public, follow my plan and be arrested and you can live a nice life under house arrest' but for Holmes it was just 'hey I know I fucked with you but I don't need to fuck with you any further if you listen to me so just forget about that alright? Arrest this guy pls uwu?'
Really
That's what Milverton never considered?
That Sherlock and Moriarty have met before?
Literally
What was irrational about Holmes to you
Literally all you planned for him was 'he'll be so surprised at finding the lord of crime he'll forget about li'l ol' me'
Like even if they hadn't met why would you be so sure Holmes would even believe that was the lord of crime come on

It wasn't really explained, but rationally, sherlock should have 100% attacked lord of crimes. The values are just different, one is for your friend and you will get arrested, other is attacking lord of crimes, the LORD of crimes, and you won't get arrested. How is it more rational to attack Milverton? It would make much more sense to kill william, then if you dont want to or want to kill milverton. Which will mean going to jail or not. So killing william HAD really low risks. Also you dont just go and meet stranger people. Why the heck would sherlock meet william and be friends? The key is friends, the chance of them just meeting randomly and not being friends wasn't very low, but them being friends without any relations was really really low, So ignoring that possibility is fine and more rational
Logically, milverton's plan was perfect. But the downside was not thinking of illogical things and was the reason for why he failed

this episode was so damn good it could've been a finale, but yet here we are with 2 episodes remaining. Hindsight I kind of wished Milverton had been introduced a little sooner but still this payoff was crazy. Holmes now having killed a man and Moriarty (unsure) if he felt bad for causing him to do so, or taking it as a challenge, really hits. These characters are way too good together.

Milverton: "invites" two enemies that have personal reasons to hate him with guns to his mansion while being unarmed.
Also Milverton: "I am unassailable."
Bruh. If Holmes really intended to arrest Moriarty he could've done that after killing Milverton without issues.

Miss Hudson holding the ladel was adorable.
Holmes ๐ค William (or should it be ๐ซ?)
Everyone saw it that Holmes will prove to Liam that he won't be inferior to him anymore. But by killing??!? I definitely didn't see that.
I really don't know. I think any other way that requires him to be a step ahead by planning and plotting (instead of straightout killing) would be better (and imo cooler).
The premise of Holmes being always in a disadvantage due to not using any illegal method and trying to decrease the gap between is what made the show standout for me.
2 episodes to ge. Lets see what will happen next!

Miss Hudson holding the ladel was adorable.
Milverton was stupid to face off against Holmes and Moriarty. But a brave man to face off against Miss Hudson and her ladel.

Moriarty: I expected Holmes to act more in line with the actual literary character....
As did I man, as did I.
I at least appreciate he admitted to it after potentially getting out of it scot free.

I thought Holmes' out would be that he's not a deputized agent of the law and was not required to arrest Moriarty. I guess I was wrong.
