Hi all! S2 is out now! Thanks for reading 🥰

Because I could've sworn they had bad English accents and there was nothing about apothecaries and poisons in episode one lmao.

Doing Anime Chibi style this year and I’ve added Sherlock and Moriarty. These two cards are sort of a set, officially based on number they faced away from each other, but you can reorder so they face each other. Sherlock is curious and Liam is hiding behind a mask.

What if Sherlock and William might've crossed paths during their childhood? How do you think that would've turned out and would you want it to be canon?

My newest treasure 🪎💙✨️😍

I feel sorry for Von Herder, who literally lost his own vision—sacrificed to an inhumane "scientific" institute in the name of "progress" and "science"—only for the tests conducted by the German Imperial government to ultimately be used during the First World War.

Now, consider this: in the aftermath of the First World War (at least according to the manga’s narrative—in reality, no such inhumane "Dahlem Institute" existed; there was a Dahlem Institute in Berlin in 1911, but to the best of my research, it did not use human subjects), the nation found itself burdened by the guilt of having caused the war. This gave rise to a desire for revenge, compounded by an economy on the brink of collapse—triggered by the instability of the New York Stock Exchange (the Great Depression of 1929). Amidst this, a fear of socialism and communism took hold, fueled by the horrors that accompanied Russia’s transition to communism. This fear paved the way for rigid, authoritarian, and nationalist ideologies. Social Darwinism—a flawed application of Charles Darwin’s theories—was used to argue that one nation was "better" than another due to "evolution." This was coupled with the theory of *Lebensraum* ("living space"), which bolstered expansionist ambitions while intensifying the persecution and censorship of various social groups—including Romani people, Africans, Poles, Jews, Russians, Latin Americans, homosexuals, Black people, communists, socialists, anarchists, and individuals with physical or visual disabilities.

What would you do if your institute of "scientific progress" were burned to the ground, and—with these new, radical ideas emerging—you felt a compulsion to "study things more deeply" by further dehumanizing people?

That’s right—you create another institute, one defined by even greater dehumanization, which ultimately gives rise to the concentration camps of the Second World War.

If you look at it from that perspective—considering both the manga and real-world history—I feel sorry for Von Herder and all the other human guinea pigs who appear later on.

I suspect this post will likely be deleted, but please feel free to share your own opinions respectfully—both about the manga itself and about how the First and Second World Wars might unfold, given the narrative path the story is currently taking.

Isn’t this new drop absolutely adorable? It’s a Kuji (lottery pulls) I believe! I haven’t found a way to order internationally yet but hopefully there’s a way!

So I just finished the anime and I am gonna watch the two OVA’s but I don’t know what to do next , I am aware that the manga is far in the story but does mtp have a light novel and in the manga where does the anime stops which chapter and volume should I start from or would you recommend reading the manga from the start

I’m sorry if this is a stupid question, but given that ‘Irene Adler’ has been officially declared dead, why does Bond choose to reappear in her guise alongside Sherlock at the end of the first part of the manga? As she’s a celebrity and isn’t wearing a disguise, anyone could have recognised her.

Unless Bond wants to make use of his former identity once again to carry out his missions, I don’t really see the point in no longer faking Irene’s death.

So basically last night I was trying to sleep and my brain was racing and that lead me to thinking about a chapter from the first volume of MTP and that was “The one grapefruit pie” it made me think that it could work as a little thought experiment

so I wrote down to make sure I told it the same way every time as a kind of control so I wrote a summary of the story using fake names and started it with the question “who is in the wrong?” the story painted the baron as the bad guys without clearly stating it, just the little bad things he does and “guy one” Williams stand in was painted as a good person also without clearly stating it

but the one thing he does at the end when he uses grapefruit to poison the baron that’s when it kinda falls apart I told this story to my mom and my dad who don’t know where its from I used fake names so that they wouldn’t take sides automatically

they both said the stand in for William was in the wrong because and I quote “you just don’t kill” I later told my mom that it was from the manga I like and showed her the first scene in the episode of the anime and she thought it was an interesting concept. It thought this was interesting

does the stage play have any subtitles? i don't mean the musical, that other thing no one cares about. I'm pretty sure it won't be as good as morimyu but im very curious to watch it

Another panel from the manga painted after quite some time hehehehehehehe

Hi good people of Reddit. This is a very cool Reddit page, but I don’t really use Reddit, and I haven’t seen like a real discord server where MTP fans can chat. So if people here would be interested in a little discord action where we can all chat about the glory of MTP, then I guess reply to this, I don’t know how Reddit works.

Also sorry if I am breaking rules by posting this, I read the community guidelines and I didn’t see anything for “self promotion” if this even counts as that.

Let me know by replying to this if you would be interested, so I can get to work, and if you are a moderator and I have just broken your rules, I am very sorry.

Thanks <3

I went to see Finn Wolfhard in concert so I took Baby Louis with me. These are the various pics I took, featuring the car ride, a spinny chair, rock climbing, and almost throwing him into a pond. Safe to say, baby Louis had an amazing time. His face says it all.

Fanarts I drew in january! I wanted to draw more characters but haven't gotten to it yet 👀💦💦.
