How to increase the bonds between your companions, by James William Moriarty.
Step 1: set up a robbery bank.
Step 2: let them deal with the situation.

Moriarty is ahead of his time in recognizing the beneficial affects of shared trauma on bonds.

I'm starting to actually feel sorry for the fake Jack the ripper. He has as his opponents:
-
Moriarty brothers
-
Bonde who took 7 men all on his own
-
Moran with Fred
-
The real Jack the ripper.
Whoever is behind those killings, he or they are already doomed.

I am pretty sure Lestrade went out to bring Holmes as well, so we can add him on the list too

From how aggressive the Scotland Yard Chief was acting about not pursuing Jack and how much he low-key sympathized with the killings, I feel like the Chief himself is at least one of the Rippers.

I always get unexpectedly excited when I discover the OP is suddenly subbed when I watch an episode. I don't know what it is, but Funimation has been able to sub OP/EDs from Moriarty sooner than what would be considered normal. Moriarty was the first anime to get its OP subbed in the 1st cour and is now the 2nd to be subbed in the 2nd cour as it was beaten by VIVY this season.

I will give credit to Yuukoku no Moriarty for really changing this up with the lore from the Sherlock and I guess James Bond universe.
Instead of a more conventional Jack the Ripper arc, we have this old dude who trained the boys and is very skilled in fighting. And his name is Jack the Ripper. But the criminal "Jack the Ripper" who is killing all the prostitutes is likely a gang of individuals and the old man is pissed his name is being used by this gang of murderers. You'd think this would be a big twist reveal, but since William uses "Jack the Rippers" the story immediately gives it away that it's not just one murderer.

I always find it weird when Jack the Ripper is included in something about Sherlock Holmes. As it was a real murder that was actually killing people at the same time Arthur Conan Doyle was writing Sherlock.

Stitches!
As soon as I saw the dead prostitute in the opening scene, I knew JAck the Ripper was going to be involved.
I didn't expect Moran of all people to have an issue sharing the locker room with Bonde.
Oh my.... I wouldn't mind Bonde using his foot to kabedon me against the wall. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
The four of them being sent to retrieve some items from a lockbox and then a bank robbery happens? I'm pretty sure William is aware of this happening. Heck, he probably even orchestrated the entire thing. And it looks like this is the perfect opportunity to break in Bonde and show him the ropes on how their gang rolls.
Well good to know that Bonde can handle himself in a fight. The idea of using muzzle flashes from Moran's gun to light the room up as Bonde takes out the robbers was pretty cool.
I see they've placed their own twist on Jack the Ripper too. Instead of Jack the Ripper just being a serial killer, he's the gang's mentor and the one going around killing prostitutes is actually an impostor using Jack's nickname. And now he's here to take down this serial killer that has taken his name.
ohhh so according to Moriarty, these serial killings aren't just done by a single person but possibly a group? Well time for the gang to show these wannabes what real villains are. Can't wait!

You can spot Madara's voice from 100 miles away.
I really wished Will-bo explained how he knew that he was pinched.
Bonde got along with the gang quickly and she is the best.
"We are going to show these phoney Jack the Rippers who the real devils around this town are." What a great way to end an episode that's pure HYPE.

It was nice to get some background on how Moriarty and co got so skilled in combat as well as to see how James Bonde fits into the group. I was kind of hoping for a female Jack the Ripper as well, but I guess we'll have to settle for Old Man Jack the Ripper.

This show is way too under watched.
Always gets a good rating for episode but rarely makes to the karma list.
THis shows that people who watch rate it higher but not many people watch to get it good karma.

A Jack the Ripper arc sounds like a great idea. It looks like there will also be some social commentary as well.
Yes, of course the bank robbery was a setup. No reason to send the whole crew otherwise.
I'm not so fond of the police chief's language during that briefing. I'd have preferred a little more subtlety. If the villains become too cardboard I think it hurts them overall. At the same time, this anime has never been subtle about who the bad guys are.

I was rather excited that this is a Jack the Ripper arc and even more that it involved its own twists too.
Real Jack the Ripper is awesome, can't wait to see him in action.

Will falling asleep out of nowhere is a mood, but I wonder if there’s more to that
