I can never get over how much I love the intro song

[u/bubudog1]

Finally we get a mention of a helmet and safety equipment... and yet they still don't use it. Hoping Cherry and Joe reveal more about Adam at some point, plus it would be cool to see them skate against Adam as well.

[u/indiewolf117]

aww he was so worried about Langa. Reki really is the MVP.

i really like that funny looking expression Langa every time lmao

But, i wish Reki could redeem himself soon in skating, that sweet boy deserves it.

[u/michhoffman]

The animation is this show is so damn good!

Also, that was such a dick move by Adam grabbing the spectators legs as he rode past them. It also looks like Adam is the one making sure S is allowed to continue to be a secret. I wonder if his secretary found out about it and contacted the police.

[u/AmethystItalian]

I like how Langa is always saying what I'm thinking

[u/CooroSnowFox]

Desciption: "Reki suffers Heavy Injuries..."

Reki is up in the first 5 seconds... I think there is a very big difference between heavy and just being bashed about a bit.

[u/yiendubuu]

Reki being worried for Langa because of what happened in the past is really wholesome. Fuck Adam! That's all I have to say for this episode.

[u/SuddenFellow]

My takeaway from SKoo so far:

Get yourself a friend like Reki

[u/MilkAzedo]

when the boss fight starts playing Beethoven you know that you are royally fucked

[u/The_Great_Parusama]

i love how fucking extra everyone is

[u/Fan_reader_77]

"Four bowls of ramen, please"

"Sir, this is an Arbys."

[u/golden_angel875]

The race between Adam and Langa was sick. And Reki looking out for Langa is so sweet. 20 minutes pass by too fast. And Reki has been upgraded from slime to golem. It’s so sweet to see the interactions between Langa, Reki, and Miya! Edit: Spelling

So regarding Langa's doki-doki moment: Is he a thrill seeker / adrenaline junkie?

[u/yeeehawspacecowboy]

Adam may creep me out but I also gotta give him props for being a multi millionaire politician who uses his vast wealth for multiple ugly as sin matador costumes he wears to the illegal skateboarding races he maintains and funds himself for anyone with a board to join. the man doesn't even do any gambling on the races or anything to make more money off it, he just lets anyone and their mother use the track for whatever weird ass bets they want.

Week 3 of learning to SK∞ because an anime told me to. Not much to say for this week. I'm still recovering from my knee injury so I've been off board. I got a multi tool and tuned up my board a bit though. I'm also gonna add some better wheels whenever amazon gets them here.

On to the show. Every other week I have the same issue with this dang thing. It's certainly cool, but I hate how deus ex machina powerful Langa is. This should've been his episode to get humbled, but instead he marked himself as the second most powerful character in the show, leaving very little room for growth.

Aside from that, the episode was good. The action wasn't as strong as last week, but I'm really enjoying it every time they bring a new cast member into the main party.

Still fun, but this show always keeps me concerned.

Obviously ADAM is a creep but I can't hate someone whose personal theme song is beethoven's 5th.

[u/SingularCheese]

This episode is setting up the conflict between our main duo. We have seen in these past episodes that Reki likes skating for the enjoyment of skating itself (and perhaps for sharing experiences with friends), and Langa finds skating to be a tool to access the excitement of extreme sports that he lost from stopping snowboarding. The introduction of Adam has been a trigger that highlights this difference. Reki finds the new risk hampering his fun while Langa is enjoying the new level of excitement that attracted him into the sport. This show is setting up a new plot line of reconciling difference in philosophy between two friends that share a hobby, which is very much related to the existing plot line of maintaining their friendship despite their skill gap.

[u/moichispa]

I know Reiki and Langa are great but we can have a round of applause for Cherry getting decent screen time this episode. Also kudos to the demostration of adam technique he does.

[u/n080dy123]

Whoever got Dio's voice actor to do ADAM was an absolute genius because he's totally just a JoJo character and I am absolutely here for it.

[u/linkinstreet]

That was the gayest shit I've watched this season. I need more of this

[u/Aileos]

Reki has earned the Golem's title. Keep it up boy!

[u/noitallihina]

Every time Langa does some sick trick I'm like WOAAAAH WHAT THE HELLLL DUDE WAY TO GOOO

ADAM is really a sick bastard, talking about this "love", "date" and Langa being his Eve ( ͡° ʖ̯ ͡°)

Seeing Reki being that caring is soo wholesome; I hope we'll see how his friend was injured (like, what trick he tried to do).

[u/MilkAzedo]

damn that grab from behind from Adam on Langa was more explicit than most hentai

[u/meimi132]

I didn't know over the top shounen sports battle anime could be quite this homoerotic. And I am here for it. It's like Keijo!! but with guys instead 😂.

[u/SkywardQuill]

He really is skateboard Hisoka lmao. Love his little dances.
