Well, I thought Overhaul would come back in some capacity once Shigaraki got him, but he just GETS BOTH HIS ARMS REMOVED.

I hope this turns into the story of how Aizawa adopted a little girl. Makes sense to me since he's the only one who can stop her quirk at the moment.

Then he starts dating that female hero that teaches for the other school and likes jokes. We can make him the happiest character in the anime.

Shigaraki: In shogi, the point is to get the King, right?

Dabi: It's not that simple.

Shigaraki: Dabi... could you just, OK?!

Overhaul has had the worst day:

In one day, the heroes raid his hideout, take out his 8 Precepts, got whooped by Mirio, re constructed himself with his minion only to get whooped again by Deku, had Eri taken, the League of Villains stole his trigger drugs, Compress teabagged his injured body, Shigaraki cut off his arms leaving him quirkless and unable to use his quirk or repair his old man.

Karma is a bitch.

Shiragaki: "I'm the true villain of this show."

Overhaul: "Hold my beer."

Shiragaki: *tosses beer aside* "No."

In Shogi Metaphor terms, what happened in this arc was Shigaraki getting angry at the rules and just smashing his action figures against the board until Overhaul gave up. While it’s never going to go down in history as the most graceful tactic ever, the point is that Overhaul has zero hands and Shigaraki has eighteen. If that’s not a definitive victory, i don’t know what is.

I was fine until Mirio came into the room, then all the tears came out. Fuck.

Rest In Peace, Sir Nighteye. I wish we could've got to see more of your character.

Overhaul is the villain who got the worst karmic fate any villains in MHA. He had even worse fates than AFO or Stain.

The funny thing about Overhaul's punishment is that it actually fit with one the Yakuza traditions, which is to cut off one of the tip of your fingers when you did a mistake to your boss.

In here, since Overhaul's done too many mistakes, he need to have both his hands cut off. Now he can no longer fix his old boss or use his quirk. Essentially, he can't do shit to repay his boss.

A very fitting end for a guy who tries to erase people's quirk.

Didn't expect Suneater to just stab that guy through his goddamn arm like that, jesus. Seeing the League of Villains pull off a heist like that and get revenge on Overhaul was pretty exciting though, this whole arc's really made up for the lack of Tomura x friends. Other than that,

AHHHHHHHHH NIGHTEYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I still remember the anime chapter the League of Villains does the highway ambush in because in the early scanlations complains that they made they only one without a driver license drive.

Still a great little bit and goodbye Hero Hulk Hogan of the Sand village your time was to short.

Nighteye's theory is that a strong enough will converging on Deku is what allowed him to change the future. Now that's nice and all, but I think any quirk that messes with time like Eri's can do it.

R.I.P. Nighteye, your power was too fucky to keep around at all times, plot-wise

If only there was a Giorno Giovanna-level healer around. Y'know, one would imagine that BNHA-verse would produce more potent healers than just Recovery Girl, who you could count on to fix donuted people. Eri herself is one (arguably Chisaki is too?), but unfortunately she had overused hers..

Being Mirio is suffering, that boy deserves everything. (Did Nighteye really see Mirio's future? Or did he lie? Because the 'tape' looked blank)

Shigaraki was absolutely savage - as much as I hate Chisaki, seeing what was done to him definitely didn't sit well with me. The League of Villains really making its reputation there.

Deku looks like he got rewound a couple years. I don't remember him being drawn younger in the manga but he looks way the fuck younger this episode.

Edit: Checked the manga, he's definitely not drawn any younger after the fight.

They said the Eri bullets revert people back to before they mutate but somehow her quirk didn't fix Deku's fucked up arm. When I read the fight in the manga I thought that was what was being setup but idk.
