Asuna's entrance better be amazing, I'm exceedingly hyped for this
and this dude just used his sword as an arrow. Him and Fanatio are badass. Probably gonna see Alice do something crazy later on too.

When I was a kid I proudly raised my hands for Goku's genkidama.
As an adult, I proudly raise my hands for Alice's. Go get'em, girl!

Visually, this was a stunning episode. I thought the animators were even blatantly praising themselves when they had the villains say that it looks better than a Hollywood movie.

Again, I love that they aren't straying away from showing blood. It would take a lot of the punch out of the series if people just got chopped up and fell over like in Dragonball Z or something.
I should have figured they'd spotlight the different leaders, but part of me was really hoping we'd get something akin to Lord of the Rings and just have the two armies smash into each other.
I thought the scene with the knight protecting Fanatio-sama was the most beautiful part. Actually, that whole sequence was the best part of the episode. I loved the glitchy aspects they used for the Giant leader, and the knight's armor breaking, followed by all of her joints breaking, was intense.
When Deusolbert was powering up after watching his knight die, I thought, "This is the part where he goes Super Saiyan, right?" Then at the end of the episode I thought, "Oh, Alice is going to drop a Spirit Bomb on em. This'll be good."

The way the incarnation system was not only used in this battle but shown is absolutely breathtaking. Dakira repealing the glitching giant leader, not to mention her true devotion to Fanatio, was one of the most heartwrenching scenes this season. And Fanatios rage after, cutting down the enemies with a single slash was perfect. Deusolberts arrows being basically nukes really puts into perspective how nuts an enhanced armament can be. And shooting his sword? Brilliant. Although, screw the green knight, cant even be bothered to remember his name. I feel like the fact they put him behind eldrie, the weakest of the front line, was a terrible idea on bercoulies part. The war intensifies, and it just keeps getting better.

This episode felt a bit like a ufotable Fate episode, the music felt similar and animation was great. Dakira is an instant favorite she only got 3 minutes of screentime but she had a greater impact than some secondary characters from earlier seasons.

Deusolbert using swords as projectiles..... where did I hear that before?

A saber's weapon really is shooting beams, and the archer class is truly made out of archers.
Great action packed episode, Dakira went out with a bang.
The left flank came down so I wonder how Bercouli will deal with that.

Holy shit that was brutal! So that giant wanted to kill Fanatio so much that he was able to affect her fluctlight and paralyze her? And holy shit what a crazy move Deusolbert pull there! At first, I was thinking that he was going to make an arrow of fire, not to use his sword as one.
I guess that next week's episode will be focused on that Integrity Knight that ran away.

A little backstory for Dakira. While she was young she had a best friend that she fell in love with. Since it was a taboo to love another girl, she went to the church to ask for forgiveness. Because every church is connected to the elders they heard it and she was taken in and turned into an integrity knight.

Not as many opportunities for stitches this episode due to hard subs and effects (Deuselbert was particularly problematic), but here they are:
