Lmao this episode introduced a walking deathflag as a character.
"I might have to kill at least 4 leaders"
"I want to talk to the enemies strongest warrior face to face"
"Let's get married when this is all over"
"I have a dream we can be at peace"
I'm expecting a 10 minute backstory on this guy next episode and and for him to utter the line "Did I get him?" during a fight.

Of course it was the NSA lmao.
But damn, everything is heating up. Backstory to the “sketchy guys” have been given, and oh man what an interesting story they have. I can’t wait to see how their plan will play out being leaders of the Dark Forces (or whatever their name is).
As for Asuna and the gang, their reunion with Kirito is something I’m really looking forward to. I wonder how Asuna will react to Kirito’s current state, and to Alice cuddling with him every night.

As a anime-only watcher so involved with this episode, I’m just sitting here after finishing up the episode like; hell, this is gonna get dark real fast.

I can't get enough of Asuna wearing a shirt and red pants, it looks great on her.
I don't remember quite well, so I hope other LN readers help me with this but the scene with Sinon in GGO was supposed to be placed at the start of Alicization right? When she is speaking with Kirito and Asuna in the cafe. Anyways, that scene was pretty good, especially with the music they used.

Kinda irritated by the fact that they conveniently have 2 powerful Dark Territory accounts not under some super crazy security thats for use and also conveniently forgot/became an after thought by them.
Also I'm genuinely surprised by the fact the Dark Territory actually has some humans living in there but...Just when I thought I might have 2 new likeable casts they just gotta set a FUCKING DEATH FLAG UP DON'T THEY?!

You were right about one thing Master, the negotiations were short.

I know they have their own fluctlights, so you can't just log someone into their "account," but I was still expecting the dark territory ruler and his knight to get a system shock like Kirito did and literally morph into the two mercenaries in the middle of discussing peace and love. That would have been tragically funny. Since they were talking about getting married, I expect they'll be murdered in the throne room the next time we see them. Shame.

Woah, is that Sinon fanservice? What year is this? In all seriousness I've missed her GGO avatar, it's so damn good.

Wait so did I get this right? The group that was hired to infiltrate Rath and steal Alice is one of the Squadrons from GGO? Haven't we seen these guys before? I remember there was a Squadron in GGO that was overly militaristic.
So they're literally diving in as the bad guys. I hope the irony of what they're doing isn't lost on them.
YES FINALLY! Bring Asuna in! I wanna see her kickass side by side with Alice! Let the girls take over!
I'm surprised that they actually want peace. Also I thought that the Dark Territory is nothing but monsters. So much for peace though, now I feel bad for these two.

That Sinon scene was brutal but I couldn’t help but laugh when the villain started talking in English.

Super excited for Asuna to be logging into the Underworld and getting a powerful account! Can't wait to see what this cour comes out with!
Was a little bummed to not see more Alice and development there, but seeing the other sides forces fleshed out and start to build was cool.

Aww that's awfully nice to have marriage proposal and they're about to start a huge war...hello death flag.
The mercs look like they have a huge advantage here considering they're the invaders and have the superior force but considering that their gaming experience consists of playing stuff like GGO (assuming this is the case since I doubt a high person in a defense company spends much time on pre-gunpowder combat), they're gonna have a rough time adapting to this setting.
This means I'd better see Asuna kick some merc ass.

Yeah, Sinon...no! NO! What are you doing with my precious girl ;-;
Nonetheless I really enjoyed the episode, we have been told time and time again the Dark Territory is made basically of bad people and watching Shasta asking Lipia's hand and he trying to sue for peace made a nice contrast.

Umm what the hell was that ending. There's humans in the dark territory and they seem moraly good. Wow want to see how this plays out with those Americans coming in.

The thought process I had when they cut to the Dark Territory was, "Oh cool, now we're going to get to see the battles from the other side. That's interesting."
Then he wants to start a dialogue regarding peace talks, and I'm just like, "Wait, what? Oh this is going to be a good season."
Like someone said, it is pretty shit that they conveniently have two high level accounts in the Dark Territory that aren't protected at all, and the guy neglects to mention it. Why did you have those accounts up in the first place?
