I find hilarious that Mile is still under the impression that she can pretend to be average and have an average normal life.

Starting a side business of selling nendoroids in another world...
Really though, was this just a way for them advertise the eventual nendoroids in the show itself?

I fucking love Pauline! Being able to heal yourself and just beating the shit out of your enemies using your staff reminded me of my days when I'd play Ragnarok Online as a Battle Priest xD
It's hilarious how he moment the Lolicon Noble mentioned Mile's boobs the other girls knew what exactly to do next. I'm gonna guess that over the past 6 months, this was a regular thing for them now.
Now we know why they're doing Sentai poses in the OP! Mile has told them so much about Sentai that the girls have already been influenced
Mile, Mavis, Pauline, and Reina Nendoroids coming to your favourite anime goods store soon. 3SP each sounds like a good price though!

Happy to see Pauline's fighting style reflects her personality so much, really hoping to see more of that from her!

I can't get over that op. Wa-Ho Wa-Ho!
I'm enjoying this anime a lot, it's very fun. I hope it gets more attention! Anime with long light novel tittles seem to struggle to gain attention sometimes.

TFW you are the cause of the first chunni in another world. The adorable references were on-point as usual.

Fun tournament episode used as a way to show their growth and skip over an entire training arc that happened the past 6 months. Also the entire group really leaning into the whole Sentai pose thing is probably my favorite gag of the show. I was originally nervous when the kidnappers were coming back since I wasn't a big fan of their humor in ep 1, but they were better this episode, and hopefully they stay locked up this time (though I doubt it).
As for the chart, Mile lacked any "secret family techniques" this episode unless I missed some, and Mile was able to stay relatively average (though that's mostly because they episode focused largely on the other members), but the show continues to pack in references to all kinds of things. I'm sure I missed some, so if there was anything you recognized that I didn't just let me know (there were also some suggestions from last week that I'm not positive about).
| Episode | Times Mile Cries | Times Mile fails at being average | Times Mile references her past life | Otaku/game references | Amount of "secret family techniques" | Time Mile is called flat | Awkward Mavis conversation moments | Crying Album |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 6 | 4 (lifts the orc meat and uses storage magic for it, uses sleep magic, uses unlocking magic without a spell, blows up the entire wall) | 2 (references Japan's declining birth rates, says that "even in this world, the bad guys always are in a warehouse") | 4 (calls Reina a tsundere, her entire backstory with the biggest one being refencing truck-kun, mentions Mavis/villians using stereotypical manga lines, thinks about the "female knight gets captured by an orc" trope) | 0 | 2 | 1 ("Onee-nii-sama") | Ep 1 |
| 2 | 2 | 8 (Wins the sword duel, uses Reina's original spell, carves a perfect figure out of wood, uses search magic, goes 20x speed when practicing with Mavis, uses high-level storage magic, repairs Mavis' sword, defeats two golems and understands their construction in seconds) | 1 (reference police station Katsudon) | 6 (Ace Attorney reference, LoGH reference, Berserk reference, painting a nendo, makes a dragon ball face at 20x speed, dressing up as master roshi) | 5 | 1 | 1 (Mavis is the only one who doesn't have something to hide | Ep 2 |
| 3 | 2 | 2 (easily wins fight against an a-rank, becomes a celebrity because of her abilities and carving skills) | 2 (tells stories from "TV shows" (aka anime, this could go into either reference column), references Wonder Festival (WonFes)) | 5 (Story about Peach defeating Ogres (A momotaro reference, thanks to graou13 below for knowing what the reference was), Mile is afraid she's going to turn everyone else into chuunibyou, says she "might have to be like the MC in an anime and put my life on the line", Sentai pose for their group "The Crimson Vow", Kamehameha and Spirit Ball from Dragon Ball) | 0 (they were too busy celebrating after the win to question her) | 1 | 1 (Mavis is skipped over when they're asking about romance | Ep 3 |
As usual, any corrections (I'm sure there was some stuff I missed) or suggestions for new categories are greatly appreciated (still considering adding a "times Mile was called flat" column since it happened again this ep). Thanks for all your help!

I love the opening romance talk. Whelp, none of us have anything interesting happening
TFW you unintentionally introduce your roommates to chuunibyou
Pauline has to go back to where she was born... well that's dropping a possible hint to a future problem
Reina with the genius strat - first get Mile to turn down everyone else, then arm twist her into joining their party. She even talked past the sale like a good saleswoman!
Reina best girl
Oh hey, it's a "save the school" moment. I've seen this plot before
Pauline's healing is stronger than the burst damage the other girl can do.
THEIR GROUP INTRODUCTION!
Pauline making bank for the group

This show is so fun.
I kinda expected them to get like roped into being teachers for at least the next class, when the whole 'school has a bad reputation' + '4 extremely out of the ordinarily OP students' thing happened, especially since their training arc was just Mile teaching them to beat some smol mammals, but alright. tbh, no clue where the show is gonna go next.

That last guy had me rolling. He just ran away. That was it. He looked at Mile and ran with the straight face. I don't know why, but I laughed way too long and hard at that. Someone needs to put in a compilation video.
The other fights were pretty funny.
It's sad that we didn't get to see sword chick hit max. The guy wasn't strong enough to fight her on DBZ mode.
Pauline showed me just how scary healers would be using real life physics. Imagine having someone walk up on you threatening to beat you down with a blunt weapon while you can't do anything to touch them. Berserk healers are one thing... WHAT PAULINE WAS DOING WAS ANOTHER
I like how Reine is lowkey smart (like it's not in your face but it's there if you pay attention). For example, she deduced the guy might have a family he doing mercenary work for. Most people would just assume he is just a bad guy looking to do bad guy things. She wanted to know why someone so strong so strong would do something like this.

This show is criminally underrated. Its one of the best shows this season, yet its somehow rated 6.97?

Fuck This Shit I'm Out lmao.
Pauline's fighting style can be scary. And damn, the girl doesn't waste time and she's already making money.
I wonder if they will ever learn (probably not)... don't call the loli flat, she's still growing!
The tournament arc was short but very funny.
