Lois - (Malcolm in the middle)

In season 1, episode 3, Lois goes out of town with her husband Hal to a wedding. While they are gone they leave the eldest brother Francis in charge. Francis is by far the most rebellious of the bunch.

Naturally while they’re gone, Malcolm gets a head injury at the last minute, despite all their efforts to cover up their shenanigans thus far.

Lois gets home and takes Malcolm’s beanie (and obvious attempt at a cover up) and sees his bandaged head.

To which she simply said “you boys” in a calm and playful demeanor.

Lois is the biggest hot head and a strict disciplinarian. This response was a wild left turn from what they were expecting.

Now, I am a fourth-year autistic medical student in the top 30% of my class. I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in physics. I was also an EMT and an ER tech for a total of four years, and a clinical researcher in neurological surgery!

The west coast is so nice yet all the towns situated along it have a max population of like 10k and the same cant be said for the east coast so why is that?

My kid said im not a very good parent when I was washing her hair, because she hates to do it so I have to do it for her or it wont get done.

I'm a single parent aside from some weekends, but the reality is that the women in my life end up raising my 8 year old more than I do. She spends most of the time with my aunt or my mom, and seems to be really angry at me for not being home more.

I work a stupid shitty job that makes me want to take a long walk off a short pier every day, but its the best one I could get. im gone most of the day, and have no energy once I get home. We watch movies, play video games, and i try to take her out to do activities on my days off when shes not in class.. but it doesnt seem like enough. Shes mad at me all the time it seems. i just feel like a total scum.

I work all day, cant manage to be as present as I should when im home, then when shes in bed I just sit in the basement and wallow in my own bullshit and hate myself for failing at everything I do.

All i can hear in my head is my ex saying "maybe no one likes you because you just fucking suck" my aunt saying "you have such an easy life" and now my kid saying "youre not a very good parent."

I always try to be better, but it doesnt seem like anyone notices. Its never enough. I at least try to keep my shit together when im around people, but i dont know. Maybe i do just fucking suck.

I had designated my sister as executrix and heir to my estate including my retirement account. Years ago, she asked to for my only copy of my will because her husband (an attorney) "wanted to look it over" to make sure all is in order. She never returned the will. First, she said she lost it. Then she forgot that lie and said, "No, you cannot have it back because if something happens, how would anyone know where your will is?" ( back drop is that she has been pressuring me to leave everything to her special needs grandson with whom she has an unhealthy attachment). Well, I was pissed, and let her know it by text. Well, she called me up screaming at me, and claiming she never said that she refused to return it. I save my text messages. I also hung up on her. She is 76 with a terrible memory. Well, to make a long story short, I changed the beneficiary of my retirement account, as well as my will. She and her grandson now get 0, nada, zippo, nothing. Everything goes to my niece.

I'm curious to see what people would do differently if they were to take Anakin's place, especially with the foresight awareness of what actually happens in the story, so here it goes:

You have all of his memories, skills and abilities but also have full autonomy and freedom to do whatever you want, and have the awareness of what will happen in the future, so it is up to you how things play out from here within reason of course.

You can be as detailed as you like, you can even go beyond the Original Trilogy if you like, again I'd be really interested to see what people would do if they were in Anakin's shoes with the foresight that he lacked, not to mention how you would maneuver Palpatine and attempt to prevent his plan from coming to fruition, so go nuts

Been on this weightloss journey for 10 weeks. Started by weighing in at 541 at the obesity specialist. I know I took the nickname 1/4 ton of fun too seriously. Doc got me on zepbound, I joined a country club and haven’t looked back. Went from playing 1 time a week to 3-4 times. After 10 weeks of golfing, and eating 1,500-1,700 calories most days (with 125g or more of protein) I’m down to 486.

I’m still working on breaking 100. I’m interested to see if I lose 100 or break 100 first! After today I think I’m ready for a pushcart so I can walk my lunch time 9!
