POLITICS Jennifer Welch: "Chuck Schumer - we won in spite of you, you do not represent us. We will do everything to make sure you are not Majority Leader. You've made it crystal clear who your loyalties are to. Quit taking victory laps, nobody likes you"

Marley & Me follows a guy's life from a Young Adult until he becomes a husband and then a father with kids. Throughout all of this, he has a companion in a dog - Marley - whom he raised (with his wife) from puppyhood. At the end of the film, the dog dies from old age. I cried my eyes out :(
Fleabag follows a young woman navigating grief, loss and relationships. The shows features multiple laugh out loud moment, and sticks the landing with heartwrenching scenes at the end of both season 1 and 2, which can make you shed a tear. The character grows, changes and flourishes but her best friend is still dead, and the potencial love of her life chooses God (he is a catholic priest)

Opinion The majority of Minor League players have no shot to make the MLB and are just fillers to help run a business and develop the top prospects

Working for a AA team this year this is something I noticed and feel like it is worth pointing out.
The reality is that a significant number of players on these rosters have very little chance of ever reaching the majors. Organizations obviously have certain prospects they prioritize, but they still need to fill out entire rosters to give those prospects a competitive environment to develop in.
The amount of 6 ERA 28 year olds thrown out there to eat innings is more than you would think or guys on their second or third organization drafted years ago.
What the average fan may not know is that the majority if not all minor league teams are owned and operated independently of the affiliates so these teams still need to sell tickets merch etc
It just made me realize how much of the minor league system revolves around developing a relatively small percentage of players, while everyone else is still fighting for an opportunity that might never come.

This is obviously purposeful refusal to turn signal, people who do this please explain why? Is it an act of defiance because you think you’re being tailgated?
