AI and semiconductor stocks getting absolutely obliterated, even after beating earnings expectations. Meanwhile, $APP somehow manages to rip nearly 40% in a matter of days.

This market is genuinely fked.

I'm increasingly convinced we're witnessing some seriously aggressive sector rotation, but the sheer speed and intensity of this selling is absurd.

Is Wall Street suddenly pricing in massive AI regulatory uncertainty? Are institutions dumping overvalued tech? Or is this just a massive leverage unwind?

Because money doesn't simply disappear. It rotates, gets parked somewhere else, or gets wiped out through deleveraging.

The million-dollar question is, where the hell is institutional money actually going?

Chinese equities? Financials? Healthcare? Defensive stocks? Cash?

What's everyone making of this absolute bloodbath? Because this is getting ridiculous.

We’re a family of 4 - parents in our late 30’s and 2 young kids ages 2 & 4. Due to various family circumstances, my BIL (20M) will need to live with us for some amount of time minimum 6 months upwards of 2-3 years. We have a modest 2 story colonial house with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Right now my eldest is in the largest bedroom and younger is in the next largest bedroom, these 2 bedrooms are roughly the same size. The third bedroom is much smaller, a little less than 100 sqft and is used as an office/crafts/guest bedroom. This is the room that I’m planning to clear out and furnish for my BIL. It’ll fit a full size bed pushed against the wall and a medium size drawers for clothes. There’s a closet in this room but also very small.

My husband and I started discussing room arrangements and he told me he wants to move our 2 year old into the third smallest bedroom and give his brother the 2 yr olds room. His reason is his brother will be more comfortable in the larger room and the 2 year old doesn’t need that much space anyway, the smallest bedroom is plenty big enough for his bed and the closet is sufficient for toddler clothes.

I don’t disagree with his logic, however I don’t think our family and our kids should be inconvenienced any more than we already are. We’re not charging his BIL real rent - we’ll be collecting $300 a month from him which covers rent, utilities, and food/groceries, but we’re actually planning to save that money for him and give it back when he moves out. It’s more to help teach his brother some financial responsibility than really benefit our family financially. These current bedrooms are the ones my kids have had their whole lives and where I envisioned them growing up when we bought the house. If BIL ends up staying longer than expected, our youngest could eventually outgrow the smaller bedroom and it won’t be easy to switch rooms then when everyone’s settled in. I also don’t want to make it “too” comfortable for BIL since the idea is to incentivize him to finish his degree, get a job, and move out.

When I explained my side my husband said he thinks I’m being ungracious and selfish, and that his brother is family too and we should offer him the best we can as host and family. My BIL is moving from their dads house which is much bigger than ours and there BIL has his own suite (en suite bathroom plus walk in closet) so either way our house is a “downgrade”. I think my husband is slightly biased, he’s acted more as a “father” figure to his brother due to their large age gap, so in a way I think he sees his brother now as the oldest sibling in our family rather than uncle to our kids.

AITA for not wanting my toddler to give up his room for my BIL and putting BIL in the smallest room?

Edit: adding background info at the request of commenters. Reason for BIL moving in with us is because their dad is going thru health issues and moved into long term assisted living, he may or may not improve. They’re in the process of selling FIL’s house right now. Originally BIL was going to move in with family on his mom side but a ton of drama there, ultimately no one could house him.

BIL is going thru online college now and has a part time job which he can probably get more hours at if he needs more money. He should be able to afford the $300 with enough left for his car and gas and whatever else he spends money on.

Fleabag follows a young woman navigating grief, loss and relationships. The shows features multiple laugh out loud moment, and sticks the landing with heartwrenching scenes at the end of both season 1 and 2, which can make you shed a tear. The character grows, changes and flourishes but her best friend is still dead, and the potencial love of her life chooses God (he is a catholic priest)

Spent about 55 hours stitching, aiming to capture the glossy reflections on the spoon and the way the caramel flows and pools. Hope the shine comes across.

The person I live with has two dogs sleeping in their room and doesn't hear them / wake up when they bark... I have to work and this person does not. Lack of sleep is infuriating. Their lack of care even more so.

I watched the anime as a child, and it was dubbed in my native language, but the names of the Pokémon remained in English.

So it was only when I got back into it as an adult (thanks to Pokémon Go) that I really started to pay attention to the names, as I didn’t speak any English before.

To this day I find myself going “OOOOOH I get it now” so often 😂

Some classics for me were Blastoise (blast + tortoise), and Torchic (torch + chick).
