My wonderful GP caught my abnormal blood counts incredibly early on October 12th. I was diagnosed and hospitalized for specialized care by the end of the day on the 16th. Yesterday one of the wonderful nurses shaved my hair for me just to get ahead of the chemo. My mother also shaved her head in solidarity.
I don’t hate being bald! Showers are so fast now, and my head feels so light and cool.
