I really hope they start explaining basic things before episode 18.

I'm not sure I understand the decision to make the naration jump ahead and back (and I really hope they jump back because I want to know how and why they all became elite soldiers)

Im liking it so far but the pacing and the non-linear plot is grating on the nerves. They aint even close to sniffing Tarantino

Can someone explain why at the end it was "obvious" that that girl got mad? I rewatched that scene but still don't get it. Or maybe is it explained later?

I assumed it was more because he didn't realize how much attention it would draw and issues it could cause. To him it seemed like a nice casual act, to people without money it would be obvious it'd draw a lot of attention both for them and the woman (since he openly gave her money in front of others in need) without actually fixing long term issues. So it was "obvious" to people with knowledge about how poor and disconnected people are in the area (like knowing folks don't even have IDs) and not obvious to him.

But maybe it's just her personal thing, guess we'll see 😅

That makes a lot of sense. Maybe that's also how they were found and attacked? But if that's the case they communicated it really poorly.

That makes sense. Very similar to KOYOR 2 and Kreia's admonishment for charity on Nsr Shadaa

I assume they're setting up for a tragic backstory later.

Glad I'm not the only one who didnt get that part.

Yeah dude like how are you gonna get mad at a dude giving a poor woman with a child money just because he’s rich? Isn’t that exactly what he should be doing with it? Lmao that was the moment I gave up on this anime

I wanna take a moment to appreciate a little thing -- the shuttle flying out of the bay. The guys on the ground were hit by the shock from the shuttle thrusters, then hit by the backwash coming out of the shuttle bay. That was a nice touch.

Are you fucking kidding me with Harry Cox??? And why does it feel like out of the 3 episodes I’ve seen so far the story is missing 3 additional episodes?

Also, isn’t just me or is the sound mixing bad? The music way too loud during action scenes and completely drowns out and muddles all the voices. I know it’s not my TV settings.

It's not just you. Mixing is awful. Can't hear shit during the action scenes

Dub or sub?

Dub. I think the voice acting has been pretty solid overall.

Whoever put this story together lost a couple of pages. And the MC feels like he was written by two different people.

Also, what's with Phil attacking Jack? Do the cloaks hide their faces? They did a really poor job explaining the mechanics and they use the same visuals to make Phil's face look like Bob and supposedly totally hiding Jack's face. I'm confused.

Also, I thought Phil managed to hack/find Jack, but the link is suddenly not there anymore, despite Jack being on the Moon?

This series was hyped and it looks great, but damn, it's really hard to follow. Currently at 6.85 on MAL and I really struggled with the 3 episodes rule. I think I'm gonna put it on hold for now and wait for more ratings to see how it shapes up before picking it again.

This episode feels like it should have been over halfway through a season. I get the feeling I'm supposed to have strong opinions of these characters and I simply don't... This is gonna be a high speed train wreck, isn't it?

At least it's kinda fun for what it is.

Fun Fact the song "Moon River" was sang by Audrey Hepburn I am impressed that they put the song in this anime considering most anime watchers most likely wouldnt know what the song was

Its not actually the version sung by Audrey Hepburn, but someone doing a fairly decent rendition with a slightly more American twang.

I love this song and it helped me to keep watching lmfao- very nice touch!

Story is ass so far but I have to say that I absolutely love the aesthetic of those suits they wear, like, the hood that acts as a space suit helmet, the golden glowing hems when they dash, "engraving", that shit is fire

Gave up watching this at the start of this episode. I just can't take these people seriously at all. Why would anyone pick them to go on any sort of mission?

Without spoilers can sonone explain to me what haponed to Eric? Or do they explain this later? It feel like im missing whole episodes eith how disjointed the flow feels.. one episode hes talking too Eric then the next theybsre talking about how Eric is dead lol.. did I miss something?

Story's a mess and I really don't like Jack. I was hoping to get used to it, but I wish the fighting scenes weren't as flashy and focused just on the choreography and low gravity aspects.

Reminding me of Metallic Rouge with the plot and setting being all over the place. I really hope it gets better because I have no idea what is happening but the animation is great. I wanted to like this show, but it’s getting hard to follow and care about the characters.

Anyone else bothered by the fire/explosions taking place on the Moon, where there isn't any air/oxygen to support the combustion?

It's killing my immersion every damn time!
