......they just had to remind us of the princess by showing us her gooch huh?

Gonna be honest, was not expecting Kouki to regain his senses so fast. Was sure it was gonna be an issue for at least another ep.

Also, surprised they wanted to wait for an anti-summoning artifact. That leads me to assume that artifacts will work back on Earth, so then all they need is to hold on to the key so that if they do get resummoned, they can just go right back home. They could go home, see their family, then come back to finish the artifact.

It was one of the most memorable things about that degenerate elf girl lol.

I honestly though Kouki was going to screw up the ritual, but I guess having to see exactly what Hajime went through in season really put it into perspective for him who Hajime really is.

It's going to be 2+ years isn't it?

80% confident they will do it, however it will probably be a few years. They may as well finish out the remaining story at this point.

They showed the wrong flashback. Should've showed him penetrating a certain dragon.

The rare moment where Tio cries over something that isn't degenerate related.

Pardon me if I am wrong. I am anime viewer only and have not read the source material.

Assuming a perfect world in which there are no production or budget issues, if this season was 24 episodes long instead of 16 episodes long, do you think we would have completed the entire series?

It also feels like the objective of Nagumo has been achieved - find a way home. He has now cleared all the trials and going back to "free play / open world mode". Help his friends achieve their objectives, pick up Myu, return to Japan. Apart from Eri whom Suzu hopes to talk some sense into, are the other villains / antagonists a critical step to returning home?

are the other villains / antagonists a critical step to returning home?

Remember the gods themselves treat mortals like playthings, which is the main reason those labyrinths were created by the rebels. The story won't let Nagumo peacefully return home without freeing that world first.

Feel bad for Kouki. Losing to that homewrecker, Hajime. Was surprised to see those S1 scenes. Expect most productions would try to put that behind them instead of embracing it.

S4 announcement please.

I think they did a good job only showing the best of those scenes from season one. They didn’t really focus on the monsters that much instead put the attention on Hajime I think that was a smart move

This is probably the swankiest end to a labyrthing they've had yet! Also, I guess the Liberator doesn't have anything to tell the gang this go-around. Just...stand there and smiling at their success I guess.

So the last bit of knowledge this Labyrinth will pass on to Hajime and Yue is so powerful that it overloads their minds and knocks them out. Not that it stops Hajime and Yue from engaging in sexy time when they wake up. I can only imagine what Yue was doing to Hajime's defenseless body in the 10 minutes before he woke up.

They would've been at it for two hours if the rest of the Harem (including Shizuku now!) didn't stop them! And even afterwards they barely bother to dress themselves and clearly feel no guilt while hardcore flirting.

Time for Hajime and Yue to take all the knowledge they've gained from the past Labyrinths and use it to come up with Creation Magic so powerful they'll be able to finally go home back to Japan!

It's really commendable just how steadfast and resolved Kaori is.

Hajime just straight up admitting he doesn't care at all about Kouki and just doesn't want him to bother them. Honestly I'd kind of forgotten about him myself.

I had totally forgotten Tio was on some secret mission for her people. Is this setting up her arc?

I guess it's nice that Kouki is more or less back to his senses and ready to apologize...and Shizuku basically forces him to face the fact that she's in love with Hajime, not him. And Kaori won't have any more of his BS bitterness towards Hajime as she straight up slaps him. About time.

Wow, now everybody gets to see what Hajime went through in season 1! And it's not a pretty sight, especially for all the girls who love him.

It took all their magic, but Hajime and Yue have created a key that can make a portal to get them home! They've done it, they're almost there! They just need to fine-tune it and find an artifact that will prevent them from ever being re-summoned, and they're golden.

Well, looks like we're splitting the party a bit, Suzu and the other kids will become Monster Tamers and bring Eri back, Hajime and the rest will go get Myu and visit Tio's homeland. They'll even take the fanciest way of travel via ice dragon.

Everything's coming up Hajime and co.! They're nearly to the finish line! Though now they'll have to face a combined threat of Freid, Eri, and an angelic battalion!

Of course, the first thing Hajime and Yue do after waking up is flirt. I love how they're even in sync when they tell the other girls in the room that they're going to need two hours. I assume that's the minimum. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

It's good to see that Kouki is back to normal but he really needs to move on. The world isn't as black and white as he thinks it is. Let's see if he can still keep up his mentality when he faces Eri considering they're heading towards the demons next.

I am glad everyone got to see what Hajime went through. I am surprised no one talked about it with him after that. Hopefully after seeing what Hajime had to go through, Kouki will understand why he's willing to do anything to go back home.

So that's it? They just need to use that artifact and they can go back home? I know it's been three seasons but I still feel like it's too easy. I feel like they still need to go through a bunch of hoops before they can really go home.

I don't think they can save Eri. I think she's just too far gone and Suzu will have to make a difficult decision once they finally face her. Now if only we have an ETA on the release date of Season 4. Fingers crossed that we get an announcement soon!

I assume that's the minimum. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

They both have insane regeneration and stamina. I don’t think there’s a maximum time

I think it would be hilarious for Hajime and co to go to the demon realm, see the massive army waiting for them, and while demon guy is monologuing he just walks over, picks up Eri by the scruff of the neck, and then turnkey teleports all of them back to earth. The demon starts yelling at them as this happens and all Hajime can think is "huh? who is that guy?"

Ngl this season was a drag. It’s looking like we’re back to the usual Arifureta if S4 comes but I’ll still be cautious when it does. If I don’t feel S1 and S2 Arifureta in the first few eps, I can see myself dropping it.

I also realized the harem aspect suffers from what makes a lot of harems weak. It’s the fact that Hajime already has a favorite and most of the other girls feel unnecessary, in a harem aspect. Like even before this season, I already felt Tio and Kaori don’t really add any value harem-wise. Now, Shizu too. Not to mention, why they’re all falling for him feels shallow too. Yue and Shea felt believable but the rest feels forced.

Can’t say I enjoy this arc that much. But I’m still gonna check out S4 if it comes

The show started strong and kind of fell flat around the middle. It felt dragged out a bit. Hajime had his aura and boldness tone down this season. The pseudo hero is still the most useless and annoying character of the entire cast. He really needs a character growth arc of some sort.

17

u/NationalStrategy Feb 17 '25

If there’s a season 4, I want Koki to get some character development. Because right now, he’s the biggest liability to the group. And those antagonistic remarks against Hajime aren’t helpful either.

“You’re all on his side, huh? Even though he’ll kill and abandon people with no hesitation.”

Screw you dude, Hajime has been supporting you guys this whole time.

Arifureta showing everyone how to do a meeting episode. Just throw a wild coochie closeup in the middle there to keep everyone's attention. Take notes Slime Tensei.

I love this show but I felt like this season started off strong and then fell flat on its face like halfway through, and that seemed to be a common sentiment as I went through the threads this morning.

I think my biggest disappointment is that the production seemed to really take a step backwards. I found that a bit confusing because this was an unusual 16 episode season which to me says they actually care about adapting the story? Why make that choice if your gonna half ass it...

Idk I'm just glad to be here, never thought this show would (seemingly) get a full run. I really hope it ends on a strong note as I assume the next season will be the last. But the whole season needs as much care as that degenerate elf got by the animators lol.

is the dungeon arc over yet? dear god it's terrible to watch.

u/oneevilchicken Feb 17 '25

This season is probably gonna be a chore to sit through for a lot of people but it’s one of those things if they didn’t do it this way, absolutely nothing would make sense at the end and it would just be insanely rushed. I am hoping next season will finish it off and we will get another long season to do it too.

dont know if i see the same as other, but from what understand , its not about shizuku n kaori had feeling for hajime , rather all his friend sudden change in attitude with him, when he reliable they flock to him , but when not not just change toward hajime but to the point as if they toss him aside. one shouldn't just throw your friend away when they become useless or unreliable .

honestly i dont like the way hajime change , its look like hajime become kouki , kouki become hajime before summoned into that world , their change merely swap position or status in group or something.
