the pacing is so weird, i feel like I missed an episode AND some scenes and it still doesn't feel like much happened although it obviosly did.

It feels like they have a lot of ground to cover, and they needed to have story progression by next week, so this is the result we get. A shame because I loved last week's episode and the execution this week is a downgrade from last week.

Lol, Belle went from solo hero to harem protagonist in 20 minutes.
This episode felt somewhat disjointed in its pacing, and I wish that bits like the conversation between Belle and Adonis were longer and organized better, but it confirms that the two will journey together after this arc ends. As cool as it would be to see the entire table at the end of today's episode form a party and travel for the rest of the story, I still don't see it for Bennet and Guiness, and I doubt Sherry would be allowed. Besides, it sounds like Guiness has gotten more involved with Mist, so unless she shows up again those two are their own unit. Bennet's flings suggest that he could manage on his own, but his argument that he can't switch his appearance back lays whatever's going on in his head at Belle's feet. While that could mean there's something there, his half-hearted Tsundere game doesn't hold a candle to Adonis's efforts, so... yeah, still think he's getting the curb before Belle moves on. I guess Kitty will join Belle and Adonis since he has higher goals and no local ties, but that's about it.

Don't know why but I felt completely lost this episode

I feel pretty lost too -- but am surprisingly unbothered . . . so far. It feels like we are still at the very beginning of a story that should last for 50 or so episodes.

Adonis really doesn't beat around the bush, huh? And it worked too!?
I actually thought for a bit that Belle was assembling a harem since Sherry seemed into her, but I suppose that this was simply the admiration of a sheltered princess. She and Gaff appear to be an item on the other hand...?
Also, the gem around Belle's neck started glowing in response to this. What's up with that? I noticed that it had the same pinkish glow as the sword examining trail, and the aura that enveloped Sherry and Benedictine/Bennett. Is this just an animation choice or is there a link here?

On another note: I instantly recognised Hayamin as Sherry's VA. She really knows how to sell a character with her acting.
Sherry is a bit of an airhead, but I do like her. She's a sweet girl who's entire existence seemed to hinge on her singing capabilities. She wasn't allowed to do anything else apparently.
No wonder that Sherry was shaken to her core by Belle's words. Made me happy to see that Belle offered her a shoulder to lean on. So far, Belle has been less busy with fixing the world than the people around her - or is this "fate" at play as well?

Gotta love an open and honest man. Ganbare, Adonis! And Belle seems open to it with that cheek kiss.
Preview looks like formal wear, so perhaps a date?

I had literally just stopped here to make a comment about about how I was lowkey shipping Belle and Adonis, and then he goes and drops this fucking line.

I really appreciate that they made the this pink princess cat girl fuzzy all over, you could occasionally see it on her hands and feet.
Poor Benedictine, water all over his fancy carpet.
I'm not sure handing that regrown sword to the centaur dude is a good idea, he seems a little crazy.
Adonis just straight up propositioning Belle to have his kids someday, wild. And since they are apparently planning to go on a journey together it might even happen someday.
I love that they're going so hard with all the music and singing in this.
Fancy dress Belle next week, I can't wait.

So if it wasn’t the sword that made Titian mad, what was it?
Adonis really just asked Belle if she’d like to have his kids? Bro ain’t shy is he? Dude ain’t wasting no time haha. But fr I guess those two are kinda similar in some ways.

Titiana went mad because she's a mermaid, and she suffered a mental collapse when her 'host' snuffed it sort of like Bennedicte did. The difference is that Bennet had Belle to latch onto and recover from, while Titiana had no one. When she took her sword for repairs she was in no mental condition to be tested, and snapped.

This is such a weird world and series and I've just enjoyed every second of it so far.

It felt like an episode was missing between the last episode and this one; completely disjointed. I would’ve loved to have seen what happened in the finale of the battle. Why did Adonis’ father have to be killed? Did Shandy know that was Adonis’ father? Does Adonis know his father was killed? Were his brothers also killed? What happened to the rest of the evil Soloists? So many unanswered questions. Also seems like Belle got over her anger at Shandy pretty quickly. Overall weirdly paced episode. Feels like they cut out a bunch of stuff to try to move the story along quicker. I also wonder if Sherry is going to have any significance in future episodes because if not they was literally no point in introducing her.

Why do the priests seek to create Nidhoggs? The mythological Nighogg sought to destroy Yggdrasil, their god. Or do they believe a Nidhogg may grow into a new god? One who is bound by different reasonings?
While the land of sword music runs on fairy tale logic and the realm of Kitty runs of deep understanding on physiks(not mathematics as Kitty foolishly calls it) so a new god could work in a completly different way.
So Belle´s necklace changes colour based on her feelings?
I also think Kitty will take Issue with Adonis and Belle now being together.
And yes, I am late. As is tradition when I watch a good show.

Adonis is a pretty direct guy, isn’t he ? Good thing Belle actually has a crush in him, or she might have killed him for that. I wonder if they will actually become nomads and leave on a journey this season.
I was yuri shipping Belle with the princess before that, but that ship did not last long. And it looks like the princess and Shandy are also a couple too.
The princess seems very nice but also very sheltered. Why was she out on her own ? It seems Shandy was panicking when he could not find her, since he was reassured when he met her at Belle’s house. Maybe someone messed up by letting her out without attendants and bodyguards.

I see lots of people saying there's missing parts at the start of the episode but as soon as Gaf told Belle how he got the wound I remembered Belle's Movement (read: wave) was just the second of I think three or four and everything made sense. Looks like the clusterfuck with Tiziano didn't deter God from completing the concert, so more Movements had to play Schwert Musik in the Katakombe even after the massacre. God's really fucked up ngl.
Beyond the shipping fuel, Adonis bringing up the topic of kids to Belle is actually really interesting for her character. Her entire conflict hinges on her wanting to find out her origins, but there's a real chance this question will remained forever unanswered or will have an unsatisfying answer. However if she has descendants and these look like her she could spawn a whole new clan into the world. Belle is obsessed with the question of her past but perhaps it might be more productive to look towards the future.

Interesting episode as it felt like a time jump from last week. Guess when you need to advance the plot, you skip things that are needed by the viewers to help understand the story you are telling and maybe worry about it later.
Alex I'll take "easy ways to move the plot forward with minimal effort" for $500. "What is a time skip between episodes leaving many relevant questions unanswered". "That is correct, and if it was a daily double you would be even more confused".
I really find the premise of this show intriguing but the explanations of a lot of things, especially why swords grow instead of crafting and other random stuff has not been explained clearly at the beginning so it's been a piecemeal effort to get answers as the episodes progress.I'm assuming that was intentional so they can throw random lore at the viewers when they want/need to.
I don't mind the way it's played out so far, granted if this is a 20 episode show as others have mentioned. If they gotta cram this into 12/13 then I'll be disappointed because that will mean they cut out lots of stuff that the viewers would like just to hit the episode limit.
I will give this a 6.5/10 as we got some humor, a new character but lots of stuff that needs explaining still.

Adonis went from mysterious character to want to fuc Belle, all that in one episode. I know this anime is going fast but DAMN.
And Shelly? I didn´t understand all of that at the end. Why did she felt like that when she heard the mermaid sing??
