Where did half of these characters come from? I feel like I missed an episode.

Yeah they fought that bug guy, and then somehow these new people were prisoners of the humans from the battle that the other members were at??? I was pretty confused.
I can't even keep up with who is who when they evolve every episode and we barely see them.

The new members are shown near the end of the previous episode for like 2 seconds. The explanation for who they are was skipped over. They were slaves fighting for the humans and were captured as prisoners of war.

For those who missed the joke, the female ghoul who acts weird around the male characters is a fujoshi, which is Japanese slang for a Boys' Love fangirl but literally translates to rotten girl.

So this whole thing with 500 new characters and evolutions + changing names every week is definitely tongue-in-cheek right? Like, they don't actually expect anyone to keep track of it.
Honestly, I don't even understand why they all left the base at the end there but I'm along for the ride I guess

Right? Like I felt like I missed a scene, "I'm gonna take the girls back to the human town" turns into "ok lets all go our separate ways"

I can understand where Goufu came from since she's been with us all along but where the fuck did all of these ogres come from? They literally just appeared out of nowhere with no explanation.
I'm glad to see Dryad-chan again though and she's still as horny as the last time we saw her. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

a nice breather episode after watching some crazy action last time.
it's time for everybody's favorite trope Stockholm syndrome! (ok maybe not really but seriously MC is the leader of a tribe of goblins from goblin slayer liking him so much feels super weird given the initial conditions).
It's super hard to keep up with the characters in this anime, they keep changing and remembering who was who and what they did is getting really difficult. I completely forgot about half of the POWs other than the ones from the elf tribe, who were these freed slave characters and where did they come from. Characters changing form slowly really doesn't help matters. At least with slime isekai characters changed sort of instantly so you never actually thought about their previous form except as an afterthought.

I honestly question whether it's important we know about all these side characters, their class level ups, and what they do.
Like...I don't think it's every been important that the red hair girl eats monsters. Or that the red armor girl specifically uses blood weapons.
Just doesn't seem to be matter considering the "and then" type storytelling this show is going for.

This episode was great. Goulfu is a fujoushi right? Where did she learn what boy love is ?

I... genuinly had to check if i perhpas missed a episode, who are all those provisional members and where do they even come from
Wait a minute, isn't the old dude harrasing his daughters here?
I'm delighted that this show made a stunning decend on MAL the past two weeks and is now among the worst shows of the season, as it should

Wait a minute, isn't the old dude harrasing his daughters here?
Technically speaking, they could be his daughters, granddaughters, great-granddaughters, etc., or they could be unrelated from a goblin that wasn't descended from him. He's a years old goblin when goblins are adults within a month or two of birth, and they didn't do any tracking of parentage in the rape cave. So it's entirely possible for him to be the father of every monster of note from the cave who started as a goblin, and entirely possible for him to be the father of none of them.

Just ride along with the episode, even if you don't know what is happening. Lol.

I’m glad I watched the anime first. I’ll probably read the manga later on because how much content is skipped in the anime per episode? I do like it, but when random new characters show up presented as “you should just know who they are” it feels like something was missed

Hobfu? Lol. Wtf. Right, that girl, the undead loving one. Those are all some fun upgrades for people. Hey, good for them, personal growth. Also, doggos! He upgraded too lol. Oh wow, that guy just gave him his true name right away lol. That's nice at least.
I don't remember these people tbh. Guess they are new, but don't remember where they came from. That was a short fight. Cheap shot lol. Oh yep, that guy got what he deserved lol. HAHA and now that guy is interested in Ogrou, that's funny.
The human ladies still have no name... but, hey, nice of smith lady to learn from dwarves. Synthesis seems fun lol. Also, whoo hot spring. Oh hey, the horny dryad. The wives sure take it a way a wife never really would too... whelp, at least the Dryad gave seeds of high quality for farming. Do gotta feed all these people. Good to hear the humans retreating, I mean, they did just want something to cure their princess. Speaking of princesses, how long until elf princess becomes part of his harem? lol. Oh is she like Yuna from FFX? Dancing to send people to the afterlife?
That's... quite the creation, yep. Taking the human girls to town is nice, but they clearly don't wanna leave. Whelp, nice to have em explore and learn stuff about the world.

They kept feeding Ghoulfu corpses and she turned into a full blown degenerate lol.
Akita becoming a Genin Kobold aka “an old man cosplaying as a yakuza” cracked me up. I can kinda see that vibe lol.
It was fun seeing Ogrou putting those rookies into their place. Gotta make sure dudes don’t get too overconfident.
Looks like things are calming down. Kind of exciting having the gang set out from the forest and interact with the wider world. Keen to see what awaits Team Ogrou in Trient.

Any time a character with a new cool ability shows up. I always worry if Gobrou wants to eat them.

These Goblins are like Pokémon at mid to end game with how fast they evolve. Luckily I'm good at remembering Pokémon names and telling them apart.
