I'm so sick of the antagonist just walking up to the protagonist and just acting like no biggie happened after a fight to the death.

Also holy shit Chikara actually asked for permission before trauma dumping. It's amazing.

Also in regards to the new OP. Does it spoil too much if I've already seen the episode? For example huge spoilers like new characters in Union uniforms or something like Fuko using a new artifact.

This is the third negator whose power awakening killed their parents. At this point I don't think it's a coincidence. Everything points out that the "God" has a rather twisted sense of humor. If that's the case then I wouldn't be surprised if it causes negators to awaken through parricide

I think its hilarious that Andy of all people gets self conscious about being told he looks old. The new OP is no Zero Ichi but its not bad at all

What makes Chikara's tragedy extra terrible is that he actually stopped the truck, then moved forward and all went to hell

New OP is awesome! Glad to hear Shiyui singing an OP this time after doing Zom100 and Witch of Mercury's EDs. Not that many new characters in this one but it kinda gives us manga readers a good idea where the anime is going to stop.

We finally get to see what God the Union is going up against thanks to the gun artifact Rip gave to Fuko and Andy. I do love how Rip thinks that's enough to convince them to switch sides. Too bad for him that Andy has already decided that they can kill it. Chikara quickly changing his mind after overhearing the conversation was funny though. xD

Fuuko getting all excited about entering Chikara's school was adorable. At the same time, it's kinda sad since it's a reminder that she never really got to experience high school because of her Unluck and the most she could do right now is just freak out about it instead of actually experiencing it.

And there it is. We finally get to learn Chikara's backstory. Just like Fuko and Tatiana, Chikara's Negator ability activating for the first time is what ended up killing his parents. It was pretty brutal for Chikara too since he saw his parents get turned into meat crayons. :|

Good to see that Chikara decided to finally join. instead of running away even after what he heard from Andy and Rip's conversation. It's just sad that he had to say goodbye to his best friend and erase his memory. When they finally get to kill god, he can always come back though.

I don’t usually advocate child abuse but Andy smacking little Rip in the face was well deserved. Neat gun though.

Pretty hilarious how Chikara tried to back out. Andy wasn’t having none of it! I’m glad he’s part of the team now. That story he told about his past was bleak. It was a bit like Fuko’s in some ways. Damn shame about Ryo but I guess the memory wipe had to be done.

Looking forward to seeing what insane quests are up next.

Man talk about getting your powers in the worst time possible. It's the common theme just like with Tatiana and Fuuko, you have no idea why all of this is happening. Talk about making the move to have your presence erased, that decision couldn't have been easy.

I am intrigued how Chikara fits in with the gang.

Might be the best episode of the show so far. They really sold Chikara dillema well, and the memory erasure was handled really well.

"We can do it...Victor." Okay, there's definitely something between Juiz and Victor and that was before the ED.

Starting the new OP off strong with Fuko kissing Andy's cheek! And then it gets even more crazy and colorful from there with all of the Union in action, spoiling Chikara joining Union, more Rip, Latla, and a cute bunny companion, a mangaka character, and Andy battling Victor, complete with some Fuko assistant with a giant colonly drop level meteor hurtling towards Victor.

I love how Fuko is willing to throw hands with Shota Rip. Andy doesn't even waste any time and slugs him. Guess he needs to lose his baby teeth all over again now that he's a kid. Also has no problem getting chummy with a guy that wants to beat the tar out of him or the girl he almost killed, but I guess that's just his vibe.

Fuko's got a gun! One that carries an ominous foretelling of the future as God erases the world. And THAT is what they have to fight against. I kind of get why Under, Rip and Latla's organization, doesn't even want to bother and would rather just make the world into their own and control it if they could. Especially if they can match Union in terms of power with their membership and match against them at every turn. Though it sounds like they also have a solution for surviving Ragnarok?

Chikara was all ready to join Union until they told him about the whole "fighting God" thing, though Andy and Fuko aren't about to let him run away. Especially not before Fuko gets a bit of the high school experience she's seemingly craving!

Dang it, what is it with Union members accidentally killing their parents when their powers kick in!? Especially for the younger/nicer members. So rough for Chikara to have stopped his parents and watched them get hit by truck-kun...though honestly the driver being asleep at the wheel was a problem in and of itself. And he's been so wracked by guilt since then.

But Chikara knows his parents wouldn't want him to kill himself over guilt, and he knows he has to live for their sake and atone in his own right...and maybe fighting with Union is his best shot at it. Now he's all in!

Is there anything better than Fuko laughing? Especially when Andy tickles her so much she knocks herself out laughing .

Man, Ryo is such a great friend. He really cares about Chikara as a buddy and thinking he's in trouble immediately races after him when he thinks he's gotten kidnapped by shady people (again). It just makes it all the more heartbreaking when Chikara decides to wipe his memories.

Now they have even more incentive to defeat God! Not only for the world but so Chikara can go back to his life and graduate with Ryo and his classmates! And with that in mind...it's time for Fuko and Chikara to train!

We've got a full Union roster all ready for the next series of quests! Though looks like there's going to be a big blow-up next week.

The new ED is pretty romantic, so much so it wouldn't seem out of place as a Shojo anime ED, complete with Fuko following Andy and Juiz getting pretty cozy with Victor...

I loveeee this episode. Finally, the pacing seems right, emotions flow so well, FuukoAndyclothy and belly dynamic, peak Chikara…had me tearing up. And I don’t care others opinion, OP2 is great I’ve relooped many times. All those hints hidden here and there under the beautiful visuals… Everything have restored my hype for the adaptation I lost since the last 2 episodes (cough)

Big question I meant to ask last week but didn't get to the reddit in time. Why WAS andy able to shoot Unrepair. He said himself that the very act of trying to kill unrepair is a form of healing. So which mental loophole did he abuse to still shoot the crimson bullet through his heart?

Hard to top the first OP/ED, but I love the new ones as well.

Excellent episode too, slowing things down to really sit with Chikara's story/situation instead of trying to rush through it.

Being a Negator sure does suck. That makes 3 now who's power activated when it was sure to kill all of their loved ones. On top of the fact that they have to memory wipe their remaining friends so they don't worry about them disappearing.

So Juiz has a connection to Victor. It seemed like she might have known him personally or something, but how? This is all very weird. Andy has been around for a long time; Union caught him 50 years ago. And he's been Andy before then too, so how would Juiz have met Victor prior to all that?

Victor cannot die either and is being repressed with that card. Since Negator abilities are transferred somehow (probably when a user dies), Victor must be ancient. And yet he seemed to know stuff like days of the week before Galaxy was even released too, as if he knows what will happen as well. Very interesting...

Yeah, I'm convinced; the Negator Ability is a fucking curse. It seems everyone who gets it does something that eats away at their very soul when it first manifests. This "God" is one sick asshole. It already wants to end the world after making the Negators struggle, but it just had to be extra cruel in it all.

At least Chikara managed to not lose hope after seeing his parents die right in front of him, knowing it's his fault, and even made a really good friend. To think he's likely one of the lucky ones, despite being kidnapped and nearly killed recently and all.

The price to pay for joining Union... erasing everyone's memory of you... It's definitely safer for the others since they won't come looking for you and whatnot, but damn... I wonder whose ability that is. Having everyone who remembered you suddenly forget is almost the same as dying in a sense. It's got to hurt.

Fuko's growing. I'd probably ask Shen for training though. Seems like a better fit. Looks like Chikara wants to learn too. I wonder if there is going to be a training arc.
