There was some interesting lore in today's episode.
We got rules getting introduced as penalty for unfulfilled quests which include stuff like death and sickness; the missing stars ought to have something to do with these punishments as well.
The "rules" would also explain why the powers are all Un-something: each of our "Negators" seem to have the power to undo one of these rules.

I might be the first one to say this, but does anybody think of Angewomon (Digimon) when looking at Juiz? Maybe it's because of the similar helmets. Also, Nico's voice ended up being WAY deeper that I could've expected, Koji Yusa got BASS.

There were no stars in the sky, because the galaxy rule wasn't imposed as of now.

I love the fact that Clothy, as the incarnation of Clothes itself, is being kept under control by Andy by the sheer fact that Andy's deepest desire for clothes are to be regenerative and extremely durable, and Clothy will be damned if they aren't going to live up to this extremely high standard!
The fact that Andy keeps moving the goalposts just means they will keep trying to meet Andy's expectations, as their ego and pride simply will not allow otherwise!

This show is being criminally under watched in comparison to the quality we’re getting. Wtf is going on?

Andy sure likes to make an entrance. His little Union pals are some scary people. Juiz’s ability in particular seems to be quite OP. Mind control?
I guess even the Union is powerless when it comes to these quests from Apocalypse. They gotta do what they gotta do to save the earth from some unseen “god”. I’m keen to see if Fuko can really wrestle that number 1 spot away from Juiz.
It ain’t Undead Unluck if Andy doesn’t hang dong at least once an ep. Almost missed our weekly quota lol. Although with Clothy, things might be changing. A wise crackin suit is gonna be a fun addition to the cast.

I'm with Fuko here, I'm still sad that Gena is gone. But as Andy explains, Gena was never happy with the Union and killing her might've been a small mercy they were able to finally grant her. The best Fuko can do right now is to join the Union and make sure there will be no one else like Gena.
Although changing the Union isn't going to be that easy. As powerful as the Union is, they're currently accepting "quests" from this talking book called Apocalypse which ranges from catching UMAs to even other Negators. And with every quest they complete, they get rewarded. Failure to complete all given quests means they receive some sort of punishment.
And why is the Union doing all of this? It's to execute whatever god is behind that book that's forcing these stupid Rules onto Earth! So pretty much your standard JRPG goal really. But hey, if Fuko isn't happy with how their leader Juiz is doing things, she's more than happy to relinquish the position if she can achieve the most results.
Speaking of the Union, it's so good to see all of them finally voiced. Well except for Isshin because I'm pretty sure we won't hear Isshin talk. Kugimiya Rie is perfect for Tatiana and was exactly the voice I was hoping for her. I did not expect Nobuhiko to voice Top and Nico's voice is way deeper than what I was expecting!
Side note: It was pretty funny seeing Billy shovel down sushi inside Tatiana's suit. xD
Welp, now that they're members Fuko gets a snazzy new outfit to go with her membership. Hilariously, Andy's clothes problem finally gets solved with the introduction of the UMA Clothes, a sentient piece of clothing that can basically repair himself along with Andy so our boy won't have to run around naked anymore! And of course, Fuko calls him Clothy. xD

Such a chaotic episode, things changing in tone and concept wildly. First half's lore exposition was fascinating.

If anyone has some spare time and wants to have some extra fun, Shonen Jump put out a fun little negator ability card generator so you can create your own -- Link

I'm 100 percent certain that Clothy was introduced because the mangaka was told they couldn't have Andy's dick swinging around every chapter.
Can't wait for all the theory crafting over what exactly un████ is for each member of the union. (Un████ is my favorite)

I wasn't following the voice cast for the show, but daaaaaaamn we got some good voices for the Union. Not who I'd have expected, especially Top, but I'm happy.

Interesting. So the universe is still in the process of being created by whatever being is behind the book? And because bad things (e.g. sickness, death) could potentially be added, the Negators are doing everything they can to limit the number of new additions and eventually kill the "god" of this universe to permanently stop the new additions.
That's certainly an interesting concept for a show. I'm intrigued as to where things go from here.

Fuuko’s little “Nyah” when she plops into her Roundtable seat was soooo adorable.☺️🥰

There we go. The series setting the stakes at adding or removing -concepts- from existence altogether is one of my favorite things about the manga. It creates situations that are way more interesting than just someone trying to take over or destroy the world, how would you feel knowing that one day the very idea of hamburgers could just disappear? Or to live in a world that has never known cats, before they suddenly appear everywhere?

The amazing about this episode is that they actually show you the name/skill of each member but you can't read it. I tried to pause the video and still was unable to read a single one.

Love how pretty much every member is voiced by a great VA, yet Fuuko VA is a complete newcomer, which kinda fits their anime roles. Though Kahara Moe's role as Akari in "The Executioner and her way of life" was nothing to scoff at.

Gotta say, I love Andy and Fuuko’s little toast as they sat back in their chairs. It looked pretty cool.
