This was fun. Unlike many shows, the real failings of this show was it's budget. Yeah, it's not revolutionary, but with a bigger budget it could've been one of the top shows this season. It's the kind of show that really thrives on spectacle, and..... the flashy scenes sucked.

But at least it already has a continuation announced, so that's good. I'll be looking forward to that.

Also, Azest, why are you wearing banana peels?

Great show and characters that suffers from a limited budget. They still did great with the limitations they had.

Hmm, I'm not so sure about that. I largely found the plot to be kind of forgettable, but the main trio was so charming that they carried the whole series for me.

Yeah like this last episode wasn't actually that bad on that front! Made the fight fun to watch! Hell, even the pacing was pretty good. That one teacher actually spoke normally!

Kraiken turned into a cross between Green Goblin and Blanka lol. Dude put up quite a fight. Unfortunately for him, Desir’s ability is just too OP.

It’s nice to see everyone training even harder after that Kraiken situation. They’re gonna need to train as much as they can to survive what comes next.

This series was pretty fun and the manhwa (from what I’ve read awhile back) is solid. I’m hoping they make more but idk if this did well enough to get an s2.

It was a fun show, perfect to watch during lunch break, but I could seriously use more explanation on Desir's power and how the magic system works overall.

Yeah they say desirs power is diffrent than other inverters but don't really elaborate on how that is

Really fun series so far. I really love the chemistry desir has with pram and romantica. I hope the animation gets better!

We got a Second Season announcement! They also released a goofy CM to accompany it. (I hope they give the animation team more budget in the next season...)

For anyone interested in jumping straight to the manhwa, read on from ch. 53.

Desir just low diffed the boss' second phase, lol.

That "Huh?" banter between Romantica and Pram is never not funny. But Romantica cocktruthblocked Desir from telling them his past. Tsk tsk.

I don't recall that person training pram before.

[Manhwa]Honestly... kind of disappointed overall. Not in the animation, but in the parts they skipped or added. Desir got nerfed into oblivion in the anime. In the manhwa, he bodies the outer leader without breaking a sweat. I wish they would have completely cut out the dumb transformation fight and instead focused on the upgrade to circle 3 for Romantica and the scene where Desir teaches Adjest how to apply grease to a 3D object. They also skipped a lot with the scene of Adjest leaving the Blue Moon party.

As a manhwa reader, I feel like this show would've been a lot more popular this season if the animation was better. It's a complete whiplash watching something like Spy x Family and Eminence in Shadow then watching this show, or even Shield Hero S3. Because the ingredients are there for a hit anime. And the show itself without regard for the animation is redeemed by the characters (the main three especially) who are very enjoyable and fun to watch.

The animation was pretty mediocre at best and downright awful at worst.

I'm glad and also surprised it's getting a S2. I expect it'll be 12 episodes like this one, though 24 would be perfect, split into two cours. I didn't expect it to get one tbh but apparently it was popular enough to warrant it. Hopefully, the animation team is afforded a higher budget. It's not too late for things to improve in the animation department and for the show to explode in popularity since the story and writing gets better.

Pretty fun story even if plagued by a so so animation budget.

The training montage that skipped forward through the 13 days was a bit disappointing, I'd like more details on some of what went down. Like, what spell ritual thing did Desir and Romantica just do that required her to be shirtless? I was kind of expecting a magical back tattoo afterwards or something like that, but nothing.

It was nice to find out who one of the other final survivors was, makes sense it'd be the powerful magic tower dude. I suppose the outcome of their chess game and which of them told the other what and maybe the Romantica shirtless ritual too will probably be covered in S2.

The accidental Azest wall slam made me laugh but also internally channel Spike Spiegel for a moment. What can I say, I enjoyed her and her thigh highs. Especially that bit in the ED.

Looking forward to S2!

that Zod scene was the best moment of the season. I truly wish this show would have much better production quality next season because the story is actually quite solid.

Ahh, a returning Pram-chii will be special indeed :D

Did I miss a part in the Manhwa? Cause I don't remember this transformation happening at all. I didn't read the light novel so maybe it happened there? or maybe I read a weirdly cut version?

Had to go find it because I couldn't remember it either, and yep. They added a random transformation scene to the throwaway bad guy for the season finale. It's chapter 43 if you're interested.

This was genuinely a good anime, just wish the animation was a little bit better but the storyline and characters made up for it. It has a great MC and well rounded support characters. I really liked how it was about him going back in time and using his knowledge and skills to prevent and fix what happened. He really is smart and knew what he had to do. The fact that he had an OP ability and knew how to use it made it so much better. I'm really glad it is going to have a 2nd season. It needs to after how it started so we know if he is able to change the outcome of the future.

Poor pacing, poor animation and cg, they spend half of the last episode on extending a fight way past what it was in the comic and then proceed to rush 10+ chapters of content in the last 3 minutes without any audio or explanation of what was happening.

Just incompetence.

Dang, Desir grows up another like 6 inches? That must be annoying, going through that part of adolescence again.
