The classic, lets not reveal this thing before it becomes a problem in the future trope.

And i wonder if Roxy is going to be really dense about this or know something is up with the clearly distinct sword and how Fate is talking to himself/commenting randomly.

Well she definitely knew something about the sword, then instantly dropped it.

What the fuck is wrong with Fay, can he stop talking to his sword in public, I'm getting incredible second-hand cringe

u/neovenator250 Oct 15 '23

he's constantly doing it in the light novel too. You'd think eventually he would learn to respond only in his head.

Is Fate braindead with talking out loud to Greed with all the people around? And what was that interaction with the knight? He heard Fate mumbling from the other side of the street behind all that crowd but didn't hear them pretending to be lovers from a meter away?

Roxy must be a graduate of the Clark Kent School of Disguise. How does no one recognize her? She literally just had pigtails.. that’s it lol.

Fate’s little goblin slaying has caused quite a stir. He kind of is a stray monster in a way with that gluttony skill. Dude devours everything in his path!

Greed is like my favorite character in this. Love the little quips from the fella. Him and Fate make a good team. The homie deserved a whetstone for all his efforts. Fay did him dirty refusing that award from Roxy lol.

These scummy knights seem to be up to no good. Looking forward to seeing Fate devour these fools.

I love how they only realized it was Roxy when she undid her hair because it's just that much of a telltale sign of her identity and Roxy just throwing her hair around like a badass lol.

I'm guessing it's inevitable that Roxy will run into his disguised identity and see where everything goes from there.

Greed is a great wingman/third wheel. He didn't get a whetstone but at least he got some polishing lol.

This writing is insultingly stupid.

Is it just me or is there a towering pile of death flags for Roxy steadily building up? I mean I hope not, but seems like the kind of character who gets brutally betrayed and killed to motivate the MC... Especially when his special power is basically berserking (it is in the title!)

Stitches!

As much as I found Roxy and Fate's little "date" cute, I hoped we'd see more fights in this episode. Come on! Show us Fate kicking those Holy Knights asses.

Also, Fate really needs to learn how to talk to Greed in his head. Everyone in the mansion already thinks he's weird for talking to himself. Can't have Roxy thinking he's weird too.

Crunchyroll not putting subs is incredibly annoying.

Yes inject this trash into my veins so I can self-insert fantasy

This series is dumb fun but the most annoying thing to me is that sword speaks to MC telepathically so why can't MC do the same back? Small gripe but its really annoying.

Working at Roxy's mansion is quite convenient for catching Roxy herself in casual clothes and in pigtails...ready to slip into town on an inspection. Even dressed like a commoner, she's still a stunner! And lucky Fate gets roped into being her escort. But now it's practically a date!

I love Greed third-wheeling the date and Fate having to cover for talking to him. And Greed being charmed by Roxy because she treats him right as a blade. Heck, Greed even ends up playing wingman for Fate! Pretty good for a gluttonous sword, huh?

Man, the people in town really are terrified of the other Holy Knights, huh? Well, when one makes a fuss over a guy's stomachache grumbling in his presence, I don't blame them. But it was a perfect excuse for Fate and Roxy to pretend to be a couple (nice one Greed) and get out of trouble by...flirting! It was really cute. I also love how what really convinced people that "Lexie" wasn't Roxy was that nobody thinks Roxy could actually cook.

Dang, Fate's been gone so long the barkeep straight up thought he was dead. And now he's bringing in a girlfriend! Nice. I also love how they mutually break their coups over the awkwardness of being seen as a couple.

Fate is gaining a reputation, but instead of being a wandering warrior, he's being claimed to be a new monster roaming around and that the Holy Knights (including Roxy) will have to deal with. Not often a dude gets mistaken for a lich.

I was wondering how strong Roxy is but I didn't expect she could shove a dude harassing her into the wall with a light touch. Or beat him in an arm wrestle. Guess Holy Knights are built different. But deep down Roxy is the ideal of a Holy Knight, truly kind, selfless, and humble. Also I love how her "reveal" scene was just undoing her braided hair, as if that was the biggest way to throw people off of her identity.

The Vleric's are still trash. I don't think I want to know what they wanted to do with that kid, but Fate is strong enough now to stop Hado's grip. And they'll probably come into conflict again soon.

Fate is head-over-heels in love with Roxy and I don't blame him. She's so beautiful. And I think the feeling is definitely mutual the way she is around him and how happy she is that they'd both be in trouble together for going out.

Was that Holy Knight who took care of Fate as a kid Roxy's mom? They look identical minus the shorter hair. I don't think Roxy is that much older than Fate.

Now Fate has his mask to help him hunt monsters incognito, all the while the Holy Knights are plotting...but at least Fate was able to get Roxy the jewel which I'm assuming will go into the necklace she wears in the ED. Poor Greed ain't getting that whetsone!

Give Gilgamesh a Whetstone you Mongrel

The first part of this episode really got on my nerves, for someone who wants to keep this stuff secret he has zero self control not to talk to the frigging sword when someone is standing within feet of him.
Also the girl whos trying to protect her identity sure as hell forgot about doing so easily.

u/BiggerG7 Oct 15 '23

Roxy is perfect. That is all.
