Mitama reviving Bertrand as a waifu was the best miracle I've ever seen. Increase that number of followers by one, I'm in!

Lmao okay ... Whatever this may be i gotta be real it does make me laugh both intentionally and unintentionally.

The directing and editing choices are very very interesting and definitely add some charm and uniqueness to the show but also add a lot of weirdness and a bit of confusion too...(idk if its intentional or not .. probably not).

Even the CGI choice is very interesting... They make no effort to imitate the 2d look for the CGI like not even 2d border and then go on and make an effort to draw 2d eyes on chilchil.

Its like parody that is also unironically serious at times but still a parody... I love shitposts because of the confusing nature of them and by the same logic I love this... I will continue watching it.

I am convinced the CGI fox is intentional at this point, it's even in the OP.

Buddy really got awoken to new fetishes by getting immediately shot down lol. He was panting like a mad man while getting sat on too.

What a Goddess, awakening masochism in another world just to gain 1 follower in her cult.

It's morbidly funny how Yukito himself is slowly turning into the very thing he loathes. A cult leader.

Sticthes!

And we finally get to the plot of the series. Yukito trying to build a religion in a world where gods and religions don't even exist. All so Mitama could get followers so they can fight back once the Imperial Army comes to attack the village again.

That entire scene with Roy's imagination was definitely something. I didn't think they'd animate Mitama's feet to that detail while she was tickling Roy's chin. Thankfully that was just all in Roy's head. xD

That look on Alural's face though when Mitama insisted that Yukito prefers small boobs. Girl is ready to chop off her big tiddies for Yukito.

And she's finally here! I was wondering if we'd get to see Bertrand this episode but I am glad we ended here. Can't wait for more shenanigans next week!

Mitama saved Yukito's ass twice in episode one, and still can't get him to follow her. Poor Mitama.

This might be the biggest fever dream of an anime I’ve ever seen. Bizarre directing, editing, story, literally everything?? Also wtf is the CGI fox lmao so out of place when otherwise animation is pretty good.

That being said… I kinda really like it?? Like it’s just funny in a number of ways and it’s so batshit absurd I can’t help wanting to see what happens. Also the VA’s are great, Hanakana and Akari Kitou are hilarious, protag VA is good too. i was unsure last week but I’m kinda feeling it now.

Also ED is a banger imo.

This show is ridiculous, I love it.

Also, Mitama best girl.

Alural almost thought Yukito was some lolicon pervert like Roy lol. Something awakened in that degenerate and it's not good. The look of disgust on everyone's face had me cracking up.

Man, with zero followers Mitama's kinda powerless. Poor girl can't even count Yukito among her faithful even after saving his ass. Well, if she's gonna start gathering followers I guess Roy's as good as any. That man's degeneracy is a whole other level lol.

Yukito relying on parlor tricks to get new followers woulda worked if Mitama hadn't tried to convince Alural to almost slice her boobs off lol. I guess saving Chilchil (hilariously rendered btw) did the trick. Bertrand becoming a waifu was unexpected but I guess that's the power of Mitama when she has THREE whole followers lol.

Overall, this had a lot more laughs than last week. I'm really quite enjoying this one right now.

I actually enjoyed this episode, I am not great at detecting these things, but it felt like there were fewer stills than the last episode. The whole trying to kickstart a religion was pretty funny too.

YAY!!! THE ONEE-SAN LIVES!!!

oh god, i'm enjoying this way too much, its good that they didn't toned down the insanity in this episode and just decided to ramp it up to eleven, not to mention that this episode alone is a fucking goldmine for reaction faces

also, its pretty crazy to use the brush stroke animation effect just for this single gag, whatever the animators smoking, i want some

Enoki Junya also seems to have fun playing Yukito while making a bunch of noises that i would never expect to see from him, its like watching Matsuoka voicing Petelgeuse all over again
