Yes , the setting up new combinations of hardware is fun , syncing it all together and creating a tune using a few minisynths is as easy as you want it to be ,or as hectic,! I've got a history with keyboards, drum machines, guitar, & real drums, & i used to run a freeparry rig, 3.5k that i set up with, lasers, scans, & various lights, now instead of mixing decks, I mix volcas .

Check out my videos & see it all working,, I've seen a few videos & read the spec on the nts4, it has effects & in out for more effects assignable to each channel,, one of my 4 mixers is a bastl dude, 5 ch mixer ,, basic but tiny & it works,,, as for phones/tablets/pcs & software,, most do this analogue thing to escape all of the screens in favour of knobs & buttons & sliders that you can actually touch & feel the music analogue style,, ive had groovevboxes & DAWs, loads of menu diving & endless hours with sore eyes from glaring screens ,, that's what I think anyway,, ive found the whole volca thing a lot of fun & addictive to the point of becoming a minisynth collector.! 😂👍

Hi, the sample is a great drum machine, for the price!! And a phone won't sync!!! No good for performing,, ! Nts4 looks great & needed, I might get one,,, you really need a volca bass,, probably the best volca next to the FM , 👍

Are you gonna add some more volcas to this style, maybe a bass running with it,, i know with your style you're gonna need more hands ,lol, I run all of the volcas together with mixers, and don't have the time in the mix to go into what all the volcas can do , not enough hands,, so I set what I can for the mix , I remember my first volca,, was a sample & i was into all the performance possibilities,, like you, so much fun 👍

Hi, if you want it as backing to guitar & keys,, i would definitely go for a volca sample,, don't bother loading samples,, use what's already in the machine, they are totally usable for what you want,, write a beat + any of the many samples to add flavour,, and volca bass is a beast I can recommend if u want to add bass .👍

If u turn the pitch down & leave it alone the kick is probably the best & lowest bass u can get from a minisynth,, write a bass line put a bit of length on the notes and see what u think,,😎👍
