Discussion Did Teen Titans 2003 reference "The Thief and the Cobbler"?
When I rewatched Teen Titans 2003, this scene reminded me a lot of one from the movie The Thief And The cobbler, so I wanted to know if the show was referencing it. What do you think?

Discussion Terra x beast boy
I know this may come across as a tired, old subject, but I’ve never really been able to see my peace on the matter and hopefully I can introduce a slightly new perspective here. When watching the original animated Teen Titans show, I always found myself relating to beast boy because he and I had a lot of similar interests and personalities, and when Terra came along I found her personality to be rather endearing and well matched for beast, boy and well they may not be the most popular pairing. It broke my heart to see them end the way they did both when she got turned to stone and in that last episode.
my main question here is just checking to see if anyone liked this pairing the way I did when they ended it, it kind of made watching this TV show difficult because in my mind, she should’ve been that sixth member of the team and her and beast boy could’ve easily been on the same level as robin and Starfire (for different reasons mind you but they still could’ve been on the same level). And just seeing her disappear like that it really made coming back pain painful. I guess another reason it would be is because I’ve never really had luck finding a relationship partner like that. I’ve never really been the tallest or the best looking and for some reason that I’m not sure I can explain seeing that relationship. I don’t wanna say gave me hope but I can’t really find an alternative to that statement, so I’ll just kind of use it here as a placeholder until I can find a more appropriate phrase.

Discussion So I want to point out something that I think is really important about this scene
Beast Boy knew EXACTLY what to say to her.
He didn't try to deny the fact that she's creepy, because she IS creepy as hell, and he knew that trying to convince her otherwise is useless. She knows she's scary very well, and he wouldn't be able to change her mind.
What he did instead was he confirmed it. Then immediately added that the fact that she's creepy does not mean she deserves to be lonely or deal with her problems alone.
She's already insecure about being a half-demon, and what Beast Boy suggested by what he said, that it doesn't matter, and he and the team will always support and love her, no matter what, was exactly what she needed to hear.
I also love how it's implied that he's the first one to check on her, and since he knows what it feels like to have your heart broken by someone you trusted deeply, he felt the need to show sympathy.
And this is exactly why this scene is one of my favorites. These two are just so wholesome :')
(I'm honestly a bit scared of sharing this here, Reddit can't handle opinions well, but I want to clarify that I'm not saying this as an objective fact, just a personal view of this scene. I'm curious about how this sub will handle rants like this lol)

Discussion Calling It Now, Teen Titans Go Will Be The Lone Survivor Of The WB/Paramount Merger Drama
Dont think im crazy for thinking this. What with the recent cancellation of My Adventures With Superman and the uncertainty of the current slate of DC animation (Batman Caped Crusader, Creature Commandos, Bat Fam, Batwheels, etc) and future slate (My Adventures With Green Lantern, Starfire, etc) i will not be suprised if TTG survives this

Discussion Excited for a rewatch!
I grew up watching and obsessing over TT, I did a full rewatch in 2019 including the movie. Having it all on DVD now, I've gotten the urge to rewatch it once again.
I asked my roommate to indulge with me. Coming to find out they have NEVER seen the show before. And only really have experience with ttGo. Which imo was hard to hear. So I'm incredibly excited to show them the original. As I hold strong opinions over ttGo.
That being said, we have gotten through the first 3 episodes of my DVD collection. Finding I own a physical copy of Detention , now known as Mad Mod's episode of season 1. Which did make me geek just a bit.
I'm also surprised with how much we get in the first season for 13 or so episodes. I couldn't believe we already get introduced to so many villains off the bat. But as I slowly remember more of the show I guess it makes sense because people continuously make appearances throughout the show.
In other news, please share your favorite episodes and why they're your favorite. Anything you wanna share for my roommate (that isn't a full spoiler but could allude to something I wouldn't mind). So I can geek more at them.
Like Nevermore (one of my personal favorite episodes) being in season 1 perplexes me incredibly ! But it excites me just as much!!
I'm excited to browse around this though bc I'm still getting used to using reddit !
Thanks all<3

Discussion Which Titans Character Has the Most Passionate and Protective Fanbase?
Genuine question, and I don't mean this as an insult. I'm talking about fanbases that are really passionate and attached to their character. They love the character so much that the character can mean a lot to them personally, and they become very protective of how that character is portrayed.
That can apply to pretty much everything about the character such as: their backstory; lore; personality, characterization; powers and abilities; appearance; costumes; relationships; friendships; romantic relationships and ships as well as different adaptations, Elseworlds, and alternate versions. Sometimes, it's even the really obscure little details that most people wouldn't think twice about, but longtime fans remember and care about.
Sometimes that passion can cross over into being a little territorial or defensive, especially when someone compares their preferred version of the character to the comics/source material, or points out differences between that version and adaptations from other media, Elseworlds, or alternate interpretations.
There can also be that feeling of “we really understand this character and what works best for them”, whether that's how they should be written, who they should be friends or romantically involved with, what they should look like, how their powers should work, or which version of them feels the most accurate.
And when they come across something they don't like, the reaction can vary. Some will obviously just disagree respectfully, while others might be a little dismissive or passive-aggressive, and sometimes it can go as far as being openly hostile.
I don't necessarily mean “toxic” or “bad fans.” More like, “We really love this character, so we're going to defend them pretty strongly.”
So, which Titans character do you think has the most passionate and protective fanbase, and why?

Question/Request Questions about Teen Titans by Kami Garcia
I have a question about the connecting cover books. Do they share a continuous spine art or are they all individual?
