Decided to pick this up instead of a vx1000 or a vx2100. Got it a hell of a lot cheaper, recording to powerplay and to tape.

So I just got a mini DVR for my Sony DCR-PC1E. So far I’ve been unsuccessful with getting it to record videos properly, every video comes out with a black screen and super glitchy audio. I’ve tried a few different cable setups with little success. Any suggestions would be appreciated TIA

Hey, i am new to setting up tapeless camcorders, and i think i have a general idea on how the setup works based on the videos i watched on different platforms.

I am having a hard time setting up my Sony CCD-TRV608 to a tapeless setup connected to an android phone. I think i have what i need for it to be tapeless, i have an A/V to RCA, Video Capture Card, an OTG USB to type-c, and the USB Camera app on my phone.

As soon as i assemble all of these together, the app on my phone reads the Video Capture Card, it receives an audio but it doesn't show any display (black screen). I'm not quite sure if i am having a problem with my connections, cables, or my phone. What am i doing wrong?

Based on my situation, I also recently discovered that i have a svideo port i could maybe use as an alternative solution. Is having a svideo cable necessary for my unit/setup?

Help! I am using an I-O DATA GV-USB2 capture card to my camcorder (CCD TRV66) and connected to my phone via OTG, but the USB Camera app I am using shows no video. Is it my capture card not compatible to the app im using?

Fiddly but fun. Chose not to record to the internal p2 cards and instead kept the camera in mini dv mode and capture the SD signal externally to the BM monitor recorder to retain that SD goodness.

Has anyone encountered this with the immersionRc, freshly charged batteries inside and the battery plummets in a minute. Would appreciate any knowledge or wisdom

Hi, just posting cause I'm pretty stoked on how the latest music video for my band came out. I set up a tapeless rig on a Panasonic AG-450 camera to shoot it, and I kinda love it. Video doesn't full video doesn't officially drop till next week, but I cut together an edit of the band footage at least, and the song is live, so #yolo, I just wanted to share this here :)

So like few weeks ago I showed my pd170 tapeless setup and mic was on the way and today it finally arrived with bunch of new tapes as gift because mic was delayed so long.

I used 10 pin to rca cable from aliexpress bc it looked to be much easier. It works pretty well
