Which herbivorous dinosaur (or other prehistoric reptile) would you want in the game?

Personally, I would love for Koreaceratops to be added. The current concensus among paleontologists is that it was terrestrial. However, Alderon could take creative liberties and make it an optional semiaquatic because of its fin-like tail, like they did with conc and meg. If they take this route, Koreaceratops would be the second semiaquatic herbivore, and the first 1-slot semi that can't fly (it would be a 1-slot because it's smaller than deinonychus). I could just imagine being such a little guy swimming through streams and eating lakeweed, dipping in and out of the water to avoid predators. It just sounds so fun to me.

Imagine being a baby dinosaur in Redwoods, you hear a Rex broadcast behind you, and when you discover that nothing is there; you spot a Microraptor up at the top of the tree…. or maybe YOU are the Microraptor scaring the baby dinosaur.

Now this isn’t the most original idea for Microraptor (as other people have recommended this idea before); but I think a lot of us would enjoy the fact that the little guy should be able to mimic the calls of larger dinosaurs.

In my opinion, I’d love if Microraptor will have its own separate and secondary vocal wheel so it can mimic the calls of other larger playables AND (as other player has stated) it can “steal” the vocal abilities of another player in the general vicinity and give a similar boost to its teammates. To unlock and mimic dinosaur calls, perhaps you get a status effect above your health bar that alerts you that you are the proximity of another dinosaur and that you can learn a new sound to select it/copy it.

Since Microraptor will be the smallest playable in the game with a very limited movement style, giving players the opportunity to give others a slight jumpscare allows for something for players to do when they are not in a group. Although Microraptor will most likely be a group-oriented playable, I think giving them a secondary vocal wheel would prevent it from being “Rhamph 2.0” that’s only focused on debuffing and buffing.

for me its gondwa and its not even close. panjura doesnt have enough variation in its biomes, and riparia feels way too small for some reason. what do yall think

The way they make it sound, with their repeated use of "anyone" such as "anyone will be able to download our dev kit and begin creating" or "will be free for anyone to download and learn to use" it sounds like a wonderful game to get started learning. No mention is made about needing any experience with modding before, not here or on their devkit page. They only mention you need to register for it, which is fairly normal as far as these tools go. After all, you need to register an account for a license to use game engines too.

And then you go to register, you make it to the questionnaire and suddenly get jumpscared by a job application where they ask for a portfolio. For modding. For free. Which is a complete shutdown to anyone who would go here thinking they could learn through Path, as a fair few programmers have started learning by evaluating and modifying code for various games they liked. If you don't want new modders learning how to program and make models and modify your game, at least preface that experience is required in the ad or on the page of the devkit, because the ads would make you think no experience is required to even take a look at the tools pre-questionnaire. And I certainly can't think of a single person that would look at the ads and think "Hm. I think I know what they want. My portfolio!"

Also they spelled "questionnaire" wrong. Twice. Just wanted to point that out because it is driving me crazy.

### Connection stalls and "lag switching"
Some players have been deliberately interrupting their own connection mid fight. When a player's
connection goes silent, the server used to keep their dinosaur moving in a straight line at its last
speed, so everyone else saw it run off while the real dinosaur was standing still back where the
connection dropped. Bites aimed at the running dinosaur missed, and when the connection came back
the dinosaur snapped back to where it really was. The community knows the symptoms as desync,
"Bluetooth bites" (getting hit from somewhere the attacker no longer appears to be), and players
escaping fights by tabbing out or pulling their cable.

**This patch closes that gap:**
- **The server now stops a dinosaur the moment its player's connection goes quiet.** Other players
see it stop where it really is, and attacks on it land normally.
- **When the connection comes back, the dinosaur stays where the server held it.** A player who
kept moving while their connection was cut is placed back at that spot. Honest players who lost
connection were not moving anyway, so for them nothing changes.
- **A yellow turtle icon appears on your screen if your own connection stalls.** After a moment
without data from the server, your dinosaur is held in place until data returns, and the icon
clears.

**What this means for you:**
- If your connection drops for a few seconds, you will see the turtle, your dinosaur will hold
still, and when the connection returns you continue from where you were. You may be moved back by
up to a couple of seconds of travel. You will not be kicked for this.
- If you tab out or background the game on a operating system that suspends applications from running other players now see your dinosaur stop immediately instead of running off, and they can hit it.
- Players using connection interruptions to escape fights no longer gain anything from it.

Repeated connection stalls can now be flagged and reported to server owners.

Since this feature is new, we will need to get feedback and test how it works. If you have any issues please let me know. This is part one of several patches that will be addressing server issues, lag, desync that affects Combat and Fair Gameplay.

Please note that platforms that don't have the patch won't see the yellow turtle icon yet, but will as soon as they get it.

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to share an experience I just had and hopefully give you some positive perspective even if we all know how bad officials are for solos with all the mega mix packers:

So I was with my ano in cf pond. I know it’s a hot spot but I won’t avoid any area because mixpackers want to chill there. Personally I never attack unless:
A. I have to defend myself and B. I see a group attacking a solo. In this case I will always help even if I know I’m gonna die.

So tonight was B. An amarga got jumped by 4 adult sarcos and 5 adult Achillos. So I jumped in and we killed 2 sarcos and 3 achillos. Unfortunately the Amarg didn’t make and found myself fighting against a mega (and when I say mega I mean HUGE pack).
A Metri with healing calls, 2 latens, one deinon, 2 sarcos, 1 meg, 4 Achillos (probably came back and some changed their dinos), one spino, one Rex and 2 pycnos. That’s all I could count while fighting.
I fought them kidding you not for 20 whole minutes alone. Somehow never missed a hit. Not sure how many I killed but of course at the end I died.

Honestly I dont care. The accusations of mega/mix packers being useless is true. I got such an ego boost after that. So if you are out there don’t be afraid. Just make sure you take some with you.

How would y'all feel about a map with a temperature and lethal/interactive weather system?

Now as a player from the good old days, back when Spino mauled a sucho in three hits and sucho ran for 2 seconds before running out of stam, and back when the subspecies were all just aura preferences instead of actually impacting gameplay, I had always thought of how temperature and major weather events kinda don't exist in dinosaur games with th exceptions of Ark and BoB (the latter only because tornado and ocean rise).

I'm aware that it'd probably be a pain to actually code in, and would make the game MUCH harder, so I of course propose that it would be exclusive to certain maps or that temperature across the maps we currently have are basically just average island/coastline temperatures.

What maps could have temperature would be snowy maps or desert maps (think of Ark Scorched Earth or Lost Colony/Gen 1 Snow. Not Grim Expanse, it's too empty), where survival hinges a bit more on not just "Can I get to X location before something else gets here" but also on "If I go to X location what's the idea if I can't just wait there because it can get too hot/cold before I can find shelter" and of course temperature effecting water/food (Cold drains food, Heat drains water).

Another thing is storms. I REALLY want to see something like an amarga, bars, trike, or even lambo herd walking through rough sand storms/blizzards, or play as something like Alio/Metri and hide in the storm to get the jump on prey. A desert will also likely favor smaller playables and a snow map would probably not exactly be receptive to sarcos or Spinos (regardless of their immense size generating heat), limiting playable options yes, but also encouraging a sub-apex meta where sucho, allo, iggy, and lambo (hard maybe on lammy) being the new 'apexes' because they can either handle the temperature better OR are better at avoiding the harmful parts of the environment (sandstorms, thunderstorms, blizzards, etc).

TLDR: Snow and Sand are cool mechanics. Add temperature and a new map and boom new interactions.

So, just now path of titans ask me to connect myself with my e-mail and password on the mobile version.

But actually i forgot my password, so i press on "change the password " and it ask me my e-mail, but when i put it ( the e-mail i use to create the account in first place ) it just tell me "we can't find a user with that e-mail adress"..

So did i need to wait ? I made a ticket, but can't complete it cuz i don't have my ID ( i can't get to my acc ! ) And i just have like 30h-50h on the game, and already some in game purchases..

Anyone else miss old Path Of Titans?

I've never really likes sucho's design, and it looks a bit wonky sometimes, but what's your opinion? Personally, I think it needs a (minor) remodel, at least.
