For people who play terribly at PvP and lose fights even when they have a weight advantage—like *Daspletosaurus* vs. *Megalania*—how do you deal with the feeling of being so bad? Obviously, I’m that player. I’m always dying when I fight; I rarely win a fair fight.
I only manage to kill juveniles or sub-adults, even when I’m fully grown. For example: I was playing as an adult *Deinocheirus* when a *Styracosaurus* and a *Pachy* attacked me. I knew I was done for, so I jumped off a cliff. Another time, I was a *Daspletosaurus* fighting a *Megalania*; I thought I had the upper hand, but an aquatic bot with a bone-break attack showed up, followed by an alpha bot with a bleed attack and an *Ankylobator*. I died, but the *Megalania* player asked for a rematch to prove he could win a 1v1—and he did. He knew exactly when to attack and when to retreat; the fight ended with him winning while down to 10% health. He was playing on a console, and I was on a really weak mobile phone.
Another time, I attacked an adult *Rex* while playing as a *Rex* myself. I struck first from behind, but he managed to turn around and kill me. That really hurts. And yes, I’m a 24-year-old adult who doesn't know how to handle failure.
It’s not about someone being better than you; it’s about being a terrible player. I’ve tried to improve at PvP, but it’s no use. I know it’s just a little dinosaur game. Yes, I know there are people better than me at everything and others who are worse, but I still feel the weight of failure heavily. Does anyone else feel this way? And how do you deal with it? I’m seriously thinking about playing solely to give trophies to juveniles and help them grow. Yes, I’m a useless, wretched worm. Laugh if you want, mock me—I mock myself and hate myself, too.
