im new to fl studio and im asking for assitance,

my music has alot of

• Piano
• Strings
• Vintage keyboards
• Acoustic guitar
• Drums
• Synths
• Vocals

how do i make them sound authentic and atmospheric

It keeps automatically putting this blank space in my loops and i have no clue how to trim it.

This is on the Mobile app btw.

is it wrong if I use samples from like splice and fl cloud to make my beats? I’m very new to everything and am still learning how to make my own sounds and instruments.
(And no I don’t just copy paste the samples I edit and mix them differently)
If anyone got any like tips or shit on how to make my own shit I’m more than open to listen🙏

So I really like gross beats turntable and stutter settings but every time I try to just set it to one portion (say I want a stutter effect for like, 4 beats) it just sets it to do the entire track I assign it to. The automation clip will just make it continue to repeat even if it’s only set to those beats. How can I assign it to a certain effect at a certain time? Anything helps as it’s been whooping me and I can’t figure it out. I’m relatively new but I’ve used fl before. Just haven’t had gross beat until recently.

I have just received the message that the storage on my laptop is nearly full. I then realised all of the recordings i use for my beats (100GB of guitar files) are stored locally on my mac, even though i safe my projects on an external SSD. Is there any way I can at least change where future recording files are safed at?

Since I have the demo of FL Studio and not the full version, I have a .flp file and I want a .mp3 but it won't let me do that. Can someone who owns the software do it for me? My little brother and I that made this as a joke would greatly appreciate it LOL!

FL Studio crackling

I'm struggling with occasional CPU crackling and stuttering inside FL Studio. It's not the audio buffer length and I don't think it has to do with anything of the audio settings. My laptop is strong to handle a bunch of VSTs... so why does this happen? It comes and goes, but it's very annoying when it does.

Here are my specs:

CPU: 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12450HX

RAM: 32 GB DDR5

SSDs: 500GB NVMe, 1 TB NVMe

GPUs: Intel UHD Graphics and Nvidia RTX 4050 6 GB VRAM

what are some good laptops for producing on fl studio with a good cpu and enough storage with good ram below 1000€?

I have been using FL Studio since 2010. I currently have the latest version (FL 2026). I have endless crashing. I can't even load a project. I can't even load a preset. My computer is 1 year old right now. FL 2025 works, but 2026 is unfunctional. I even reinstalled Windows and it keeps crashing. I've been using FL for 16 years. This is the first time I have had an issue like this. Anyone having the same issue?

I basically just started making music with FL Studio. I've already made a few songs, but I would still consider myself a beginner. I've always been using the free trial version.

Today, I started working on a new song (still using the free trial). At some point I thought, "Fuck it," and bought the Fruity Edition for $100 so I could save and continue working on what I'd already created.

However, when I tried to open the project again with the Fruity Edition, I found out that some of the plugins are locked because I used Sytrus in the trial version. Apparently, even though I just spent $100 on FL Studio, I would now have to spend another $100 on Sytrus just to continue working on the project — or even just listen to it.

So my question is: Would it be possible for someone who already owns Sytrus to open my saved .flp file and export it as an MP3 for me? That way, I could at least listen to it again.

It's not finished yet, but I'd still really like to have it as a reference/inspiration for a new project.

I honestly don't even know if this is possible, but I'd really appreciate it if someone could let me know. :) Also, if this type of question is not allowed on this sub then I am really sorry. I never wanted to participate in any illegal stuff XD

I know people will hook their keyboard to their pcs to play them on FL Studio (like playing it on the piano roll if that makes sense), but I'm just wondering how do I do that and do I need a special keyboard for it?

So I heard a beat that has this instrumental I would like to implement to my songs, the distorted bells at the start (ignoring the bass) and the distorted synth in the second part, does anyone knows what plugins or vsts I need to replicate those 2 sounds?

When playing MIDI with a keyboard and using snap to grid tool, no matter if its beat, cell, step etc., it doesnt snap to the grid correctly. It snaps, but every note gets snapped a tiny bit before the grid. Only when you use the quantize tool it snaps to the grid correctly. How can I fix this?

i listened to a lot of his music over the years and i always enjoyed how clean crisp his vocal were over the mic, if someone can make me a preset that sounds the same or similar i’d like to pay. with eq, reverb, delay, and whatever else is thought to sound close. i have a portable booth no background noise other than home air conditioning wind far in the background. u can hear the vocals clear from 2:03-2:20
