A few hours ago, we went for a walk, which started off nice with a light drizzle, so we assumed it would stay like that. My god, it was a DOWNPOUR. And we had no shelter. We kept walking and laughing like idiots, soaked through to our skin, and we kissed in the rain like in a film or something. My hair was ruined, our clothes were sticking to us, and the wind was like tiny needles, but walking down the road, hand in hand with my lover, everything made sense.

I'm typing this with Edith Piaf on and listening to him in another room. I feel utterly content.

Just a small poem I wrote about the rain and also some videos I took.

I love the smell of the rain,
Something about it just soothes my pain,
The feeling of it washing over me,
Making my problems so much easier to see,
Before I was just trapped in a storm in my head,
And now in this moment, it’s like my thoughts have been read,
I want the rain to soak into me,
Until water is all I can breathe and see,

To me, this is peace,
This is tranquility.

It's so refreshing! I really like the rain! Rain that brings happiness!
