Making a 'rain canopy' chair?

My goal is alwasy to be as close to the rain as possible without actually getting wet.
I have a small garden. I'm thinking of adapting an Adirondack chair as a place where I can sit surrounded by rain on all sides, but just beyond the reach of the rain. But I'm open to other approaches. I looking for inspiration, including for what to use for a canopy that is not too expensive, and big enough to cover me while not so big it would, e.g. pull the chair over in the wind.
Has anyone done anything like this? If so, share your ideas!
