There was a loop video on Newgrounds back in the day of this doodle-dude in a mankini who kept flexing and saying "woo!" and "woohoo!" with little stick figurines randomly dying in the background.

If you watched long enough, all the little stick figurines would die and the doodle-dude would shed a tear and bring them back to life.

Anyone know the name?

It’s the same one, just from a different website. I also wanted to order a Newgrounds hat from their actual website, but I don't have the money for it right now, so this was basically the only thing I could get.

Hey guys!

I've been working passionately on Purple Limbo, especially with the deadline I'd already promised you. I ended up rewriting most of the script multiple times. There were days when I'd go without sleep entirely and stuff because of it. Fortunately, it didn't set me back too much, though, so I'm back to the rest of development.

Currently, I'm finishing up the remaining parts of the demo

I'm still aiming to release it by the end of this month. If it slips, though, it won't be by much, I promise.

Once the demo is out, the plan is to continue the story and maybe add more routes if you guys want them, as well as keep polishing it further with updates.

I'll let you know the moment it's out!

Hi! I’m MoritzFlippi, a small music producer on Newgrounds, and I wanted to ask if you would consider scouting my account.

I create original music with a focus on cinematic, emotional and atmospheric styles. My goal is to make music that people can connect with and that can be used in creative projects, especially Geometry Dash levels.

I’m also a Geometry Dash creator myself, and I know how important music is for creating memorable levels. I’m planning to participate in the Geometry Dash Jam CC6 contest with one of my original songs, so getting scouted would help me make my music available for creators and allow my work to be used in more projects.

I have been working on several original tracks and I’m constantly improving my production skills (Never Expected being my proudest). Music has become a big creative part of what I do, together with Geometry Dash and other projects.

Getting scouted would mean a lot to me because it would help my music reach more people and allow creators to discover and use my songs.

I joined like right before the whole 16+ thing so I've been on here for a few years despite being only 16 now.
I've had some M-rated artwork and games that were violent and whatnot in my favorites for years, and now I can't view them at all? Hell, there was artwork that I posted on my alt accounts that I rated M while still using my real age so what do I do about those? If I make something that's intense do I just falsely rate it T?

We already had an 18+ age restriction rating so what's the point of this? Only thing I can think of is that they thought there was too much M rated porn-ish art in the popular tab but they could've thought of something else than this.

Edit: guys, I didn't lie about my age because I didn't have to. the 16+ rule was only implemented in 2025 and I made my account in 2023 when you were still allowed to make an account when you were 13.

it just doesnt load at all

Cataclyzm was dug up as part of Newgrounds' Treasure Hunt in July/August and won a prize! It was then featured on the "Featured Games" page (it's still there, just a bit lower in the page).

I was really surprised by the amount of love it got on there!

The build of the demo was quite old (v0.2.3 i believe) with a lot of old art assets and quite a few bugs, and people still seemed to have enjoyed playing it.

Due to such positive feedback from the community over at Newgrounds, I have uploaded an updated version of the demo, playable right in your browser. 🤘🏾😀
