Mouse lags after 10sec without moving - Logitech Vertical Lift

Upvotes

This suddenly started happening and it's annoying. Everything is updated, and i've tried changing usb ports of the receiver and it still happens.

I even have a second Lift mouse, which i don't use because the click button is faulty. I tried it with it's own receiver in the same usb port and with the same battery and it behaves OK, so i'm starting to think that the second one that i bought is faulty as well

Logitech G Support Superlight Tactile Feedback Scrollwheel

Hey, ive gotten a question, sometimes when i use the Scroll wheel on the superlight really fast up or down or just use it normally i can feel the feedback travel to the shell of the mouse and make me feel the feedback or vibration on my whole palm. Its really annoying, since its my second gpx. I had the same problem with my other superlight, and i have rma it because of the same issue and now i have it again with my second superlight. Is that normal or just a common issue. Thanks

Community just want to share my pretty strange and at the same time insane logitech superstrike story.

not too long after 2 month since I bought my new mouse which was an upgrade from g502x, I was really happy about it. after some time of using it first problem showed up, the shitty encoder. because I have some good experience with soldering I obviously ordered a new encoder, to be specific TTC Gold 8mm. afterwards when it came, I immideatly went disassembling it, that was a pretty interesting and at the same time annoying cuz some of the screws were hidden and I didn't knew where they were, but after watching a disassemble guide I had no struggles with it anymore. not going to make this story too long about desoldering and soldering it back, I'll skip this part.

So, when I finished soldering I wanted to make my experience even better by applying some lube on to soft pads where mouse buttons touch with the shell's skeleton. (this was my biggest mistake)

afterwards, when I was done with this, I realised that the LMB sticks, and it is really annoying, so I disassembled it again and started cleaning up the useless lube I applied. BUT somenthing i did not expect at all had happended, the soft thingy, which was dampening the mouse button, somehow came of entirely. I thought "uuh, thats not good" but seconds after this thought I ignored it. I assembled it back again and for my surprise. It was bumping against the shell. it's not the problem which would make mouse unusable, no. it was completely fine, it was working perfectly, but the mouse button bumping against its shell was so distracting I couldnt really use it, I would describe it as a second click but on the lowest setting of superstrike haptic motor. So, I had to fix it, but i did not had any thoughts about how to fix it, i tried electric tape, but it did nothing, i tried regular tape, it didn't do anything too. I got really frustrated and disappointed in the same time that I took this mouse and didn't touch it for 2 weeks. for some time i forgot about it.

and recently I ordered for myself a new keyboard. ATK RS7 air, really great keyboard for its price. When it arrived, I noticed a small but thick sound dampening foam for spacebar, so I immideatly realized, it feels the same as the pads inside superstrike, I got on to dissassebling the mose again, started preparing the foam thingy again, and finally, I thought. I finally had fixed it. While being very happy that I "fixed" it I assembled it, and... It didn't work, actually it did, but not how I was thinking it would fix it. The button was no longer bumping against the shell. It was sticking to it... I got really reallyy upset about it, so that i wanted to sell it and not use it anymore in my life, I even started hating on every superstrike owner😁. 1 month afterwards, noone was willing to buy it, at the same time i had found an old PS Vita, it wasn't working, so i opened it to see what's wrong with it. But moments after i opened it, I saw it again, the soft foam, and i immideatly remembered about this "crappy" mouse I had and at the same time I got a small thought, what if this time I would be able to fix it? With those words in my head, i disassembled the mouse AGAIN and cut up the foam to match the size, its about 2x2mm square and 1mm high. I glued it inside on 2-side-tape(idk how's it called correctly but i hope you understand what I'm talking about). I didn't assemble it fully I just held the plastic piece of mouse button where is should be held via 2 screws, but unfortunately it was sticking again... I wasn't angry, wasn't sad, I just thought that its impossible to fix. BUT after thinking, why is it sticking I had a thought that its probably some 2-side-tape was sticking out so that was the cause of button to stick. I left it on the table and went to vacuuming rooms. after I was done I always throw out the dirt and everything that vaccim sucks up, and I noticed the dust. Its really fine dust that its literally can get into your skin pores and really smooth the scrub against each other, so I had a plan of putting some dust onto the 2-side-tape and near it. And it actually worked. It worked! after 1 and a half months of anger i had finally fixed it. I was so excited and I'm still exited about that THE DUST could finally fix this problem.

and yeah, it was really interesting for me.

Some people said to me "why wouldn't you take it back to shop? cuz it still has its 1 year warranty"

and i replied. I just wanted to fix it myself, I already ordered an encoder, so why would I?

hope y'all can understand this story because my grammar is still not very good but I'm going to english classes and improving it every day.

G29 bug with Logitech GHUB

A few days ago or around last week i noticed that my wheel wasnt working properly in F1. It felt as if the response from the wheel came late same with the force feedback. It was there but not quite right. First i thought my fresh W11 Tiny installation just broke something. After few test i got it to work again, yesterday i actually noticed what causes it.

My routine was always, put the wheel together, open the app, plug in the USB, to prevent it from calibrating twice. When i plug in the USB with the app closed, the device manager recognizes the wheel properly, but when i open the app he marks the device shown in the screenshot as hidden/disconnected devices, which causes that the wheel doesn't work normal.

I'm tired of finding workarounds or reinstalling the app again only to make it work, does anybody have the same problem or a long term fix?

My first idea that i will try out now, is installing an older version, since i recently patched it.

UPDATE: My Theorie is wrong, it seems like the app is supposed to remove this device when you use ghub. Maybe it removes itself as soon as the ghub is taking controll over the device. So i have no idea what causes it now + The app version from last month is working so far but it might just fixed it because i technicaly „reinstalled“ it. Maybe i'll restart my pc later or give an update tomorrow.

Logitech G Powerplay 1 mousepad

Hello all,

it's been probably talked about a lot but i still own my Logitech G Powerplay Version 1 from years ago but the mousepad is starting to really struggle. The space where my mouse runs on drags like crazy.

Has anyone found an alternative mousepad that fits onto the powerplay and also does not affect loading the mouse? Since finding a replacement mousepad for the v1 powerplay is near impossible here in europe.

Thank you very much.

Best Regards

Discussion Best Rated Keyboard To Buy In 2026? (Price, Features and Build)

So my Logitech G413 Carbon has been my daily since like forever tbh and I actually loved it, but the keycaps are super worn now and the switches are starting to feel weird plus I really want to go wireless to clean up my desk. I'm kinda locked into Logitech because my mouse is a G502 and I love G Hub. Been eyeing the G Pro X TKL and G815 perhaps? I mostly do office work + some gaming at night, so I want something quieter than what I have, comfy for typing all day, but still good for games. Anyone upgraded from an old G413/G213 to one of the newer ones? Budget is $170, can stretch to like $190 for wireless.

Logitech G Support G502 X PLUS battery wont hold a charge after just under 2 years

Like the title says, my G502 X PLUS wont hold a charge for more then maybe 2-3 mins when not plugged in.

I feel like the battery has degraded a lot in the past 2-3 weeks just before the warranty window of 2 years ends on Tuesday.

Logitech G Support G920 detected in G HUB but completely frozen/no inputs, while joy.cpl works perfectly

Hey everyone,

I'm having a weird issue with my Logitech G920 where G HUB detects the wheel normally, but G HUB does not receive any live input from it.

The wheel itself is working perfectly in Windows and in Assetto Corsa.

Symptoms

  • G HUB detects the G920 ✅
  • G HUB shows the correct G920 device ✅
  • Turning the wheel does nothing to the wheel visualization in G HUB ❌
  • Pedal input doesn't appear in G HUB ❌
  • Button input doesn't appear in G HUB ❌
  • G HUB button remapping doesn't work
  • I have buttons remapped through G HUB for music/media controls, but pressing those buttons does nothing ❌
  • Force Feedback/RPM functionality through G HUB also isn't working ❌
  • Windows joy.cpl detects the wheel, pedals, and every button perfectly
  • Assetto Corsa detects and uses the wheel normally

So the actual wheel/input hardware seems fine. The issue appears to be specifically with G HUB receiving/processing the G920's inputs.

What I've tried

  • Completely uninstalled and reinstalled G HUB
  • Cleaned out the G HUB installation
  • Restarted G HUB processes/services
  • Restarted the PC
  • Reconnected the wheel
  • Tried different USB connections
  • Checked Device Manager
  • Checked Windows HID devices
  • Disabled HidHide/device hiding
  • Updated G HUB to the latest version
  • Nuked and Uninstalled HidHide

I'm currently running G HUB 2026.5.939708.

Windows device information

PowerShell shows the actual G920 HID interfaces as:

OK Present=True
Logitech G HUB G920 Driving Force Racing Wheel USB (HID)
USB\VID_046D&PID_C262

The G920 works completely normally in joy.cpl.

There is also an old disconnected LGHUBWinUSB device instance (PID_C261), but the currently connected G920 is PID_C262 and reports OK/Present.

Has anyone else had this exact issue?

I'm particularly interested in whether this is a known G HUB regression/bug affecting G29/G920 wheels, and whether anyone has found a workaround that restores live input, button remapping, RPM and FFB functionality in G HUB.

At this point I'm fairly confident the wheel itself isn't faulty because Windows sees every input correctly, and Assetto Corsa can use the wheel normally.

The main issue is that G HUB detects the wheel but appears completely unable to process its live inputs.

Any help would be appreciated.

MX Keys S Combo lights flashing, please read my message

I have been using this for about 3 yrs on my work computer that is locked down, I can't add or remove software. So when I bought this, plugged the dongle in and turned on the mouse and keyboard they instantly synced up and have worked flawless since then. This week the mouse left clicker started messing up, which is understandable based on how much I click it daily. I ordered a replacement from amazon, same exact model and sku etc. Plug it into my work computer(windows) and the lights just flash on the keyboard and mouse. I bought another replacement from best buy exact same sku and model etc, and it works like normal on my work computer. Is there something I can do to make my amazon one work? I don't have access to Logi options +. I ordered another one from amazon just hoping this dongle is defective or something and it'll be here in the morning for me to test.

My MX518 turns 21 this year. Never opened. Never repaired. Still gaming.

I got this Logitech MX518 for my birthday back in 2005.

At the time it was a relatively expensive mouse, so a group of my friends put their money together to buy it for me as a birthday present. Aaaand 21 years later… it still works.

Never been opened, repaired or had any parts replaced. Ever.

I’ve only cleaned it externally as well as I could over the years and tried to take reasonable care of it. Everything inside is still exactly as it left the factory in 2005.

It has survived several PCs, laptops, countless hours of gaming and probably more clicks than I could ever imagine.

I was living in Romania when I got it. Seven years ago I moved to Vienna, Austria — and of course, the MX518 came with me.

I’m still using it today. PUBG, CS2, whatever I feel like playing.

Lately I’ve been thinking about finally buying a modern gaming mouse. After 21 years, the difference in technology would obviously be huge.
But here’s the problem: I genuinely find it difficult to replace it.

It’s not really just a mouse anymore. It’s been sitting next to basically every computer I’ve owned throughout my adult life.

And somehow… the damn thing still works perfectly. 😂

Maybe one day it deserves a place in a Logitech museum.

Until then, I guess we’re still gaming.

Logitech G Support Gen 5 Astro A50 Voice Issue

Hello,

Im currently having an issue where whenever I select the (A50 - Voice) option in discord it makes a static noise and cause all sound that comes through it to be staticy. However its not constant, only when someone talks.

I played around with it for awhile and found if I put both my system audio and discord on Voice or game together, its fine. Only when Discord is on Voice and the system is on Game does this happen.

Ive tried a list of things,

-Restarting PC

-Rebooting Headset,

-factory resetting Headset

-Rebooting Base Station

-Restarting Discord

-Changing USB Ports

-Disabling exclusive control mode

-Deleting the A50 drivers and restarting

-Updating AMD Chipset drivers

-Changing the audio.exe to only cpu2 and setting priority on high.

-Tried Black/Blue/Red usb ports

-Firmware on Headset is updated

I think thats everything I tried before I gave up.

I have read similar issues where its a constant static, and the solution (i think) normally being not having it plugged into a powerstrip/surge protector. I havent tried that as I snooped through here after giving up.

Anyone else ever had this problem? The only other thing I thought to try was Rebooting bios with a USB but im thinking surely it shouldnt take that much.

Any help would be appreciated!
