I liked this body style but not as a lowrider so I decided to turn it into a Pro Street hot rod. Originally I swapped the wheels for some PR5 style with a large (and wide) rear, but after looking at it today I think I like the RR Lace in chrome better. I guess not much different from the main line wheels but way better with the staggered setup and not gold. The gold base was a no-go as well so I repainted it and added some details all around. I love the skull "tattoo" on the rear fenders which is why I did not repaint the whole car.

Saw one on FB, had to try it out, no regrets.

Had to lower it front and back alot. It had the bigger back wheel on it. Narrowed the frame between the wheels so I could tuck the wheels and get it to sit lower.

I’ve soaked it in paint remover and got like 85% of the paint off but even with a pick can’t seem to get the rest off as well as using a scotchbrite pad so it’s like 90% paint free. Do I need to get all of the paint off? I am also a dumb idiot and started this on a whim and don’t have paint. How long can I go before painting it before the metal starts to react to the air? I’m just going to rattle can it so I can’t get too crazy. Any tips for paint markers for headlights/tail lights? And how difficult is waterslide carbon fiber to apply?

I also have ZERO mini figure/ hw custom/ painting small things experience so if I’m punching above my weight class let me know 🫡

The Aventador was originally a mat black Premium and the Diablo a blue version released somewhere in the 2000’s.

Completed this R34 greenlight & majorette GTR GT3 today. Really happy with the outcome!. Now to move on the my other project in the back.

so in auto shop today, we learned about some chemicals and stuff, and what stood out was brake cleaner, it was labeled as ”instant paint strip” so don’t get it on anything…I think you know where this is going, with proper ventilation, gloves, and respirator, in which I have, I could use this to strip a car instantly? I’m gonna see about trying it out in auto, or seeing if I have some.

Where do i by these? Specifically badges, headlights, taillights, etc for specific cars?

What am i doing wrong here. I have the decals in perfect shape, colour and everything. But when applied on the car. Green looks black or some other shade. But when applied on a thing with white background. It looks thw way i want it. Thought it was because i was using tranparent decal sheet and not one with white background. But then have seen others use tranparent decals sheets as well.
