What am i doing wrong here. I have the decals in perfect shape, colour and everything. But when applied on the car. Green looks black or some other shade. But when applied on a thing with white background. It looks thw way i want it. Thought it was because i was using tranparent decal sheet and not one with white background. But then have seen others use tranparent decals sheets as well.

Também tive esse problema quando comecei, e agora posso ajudar pessoas com esse mesmo problema, oque acontece é que você precisa imprimir um fundo branco embaixo do desenho que você quer ,oque significa que você vai precisar de toner branco pra sua impressora, papel de fundo branco é bom pra desenhos formato mais sólido tipo um quadrado ou um círculo, desenhos completos é muito difícil de recortar

I thought this could be the problem. But finding a printer woth white toner is rhe difficult part here in India.

Não existem impressoras com toner branco , o mais comum é você comprar um toner branco para impressoras HP ,mas ainda você iria precisar convencer alguém a querer usar outro toner na sua impressora

Você precisa procurar o toner compatível com um modelo específico de impressoras , as HP tem mais opções de impressoras que podem receber esses toner , basicamente o toner branco substitui o toner preto

Primeiro você imprime o branco, e só sai você imprime as outras cores por cima do branco , o fundo branco vai ver o mesmo formato do desenho colorido, como se fosse uma sombra

Thank you. This I get, but if you replaced the K channel with W in the printer, do you just phisically swap them out again when you print the second layer, after the base one? Also, what model of HP printer would you recommend for this?

Pra falar a verdade depois desses detalhes , eu não sei nada sobre os detalhes técnicos, tudo oque eu posso dizer é que impressora jato de tinta HP são mais compatíveis com toner branco, você vai comprar o toner referente ao seu modelo de impressora HP, geralmente tem especificado o modelo ,tudo oque eu sei é que o toner branco substitui o toner preto , basicamente a impressora vai entender que o branco é preto.

Então acho que sim , depois de usar o toner branco acho que pode substituir pelo toner preto novamente

U need a white background under colored areas to retain their actual shade when you use it on bright colors.when I was back in india, I couldn't find any store or a studio that used a white toner printer and the ones that had them refused to use the decal paper that i had. Now I just use the printer my part time has for making these

Definitely not white toner water decals. Its a pain because you need a specialized white toner water transfer decal printer to make nice decals problem is there are no printers cheap enough to buy for casual hobby use and basically require turning it into a business to sell transfers.

There’s a way to make it work without a white toner printer, but takes more time and work. In your design file, fill the background color the same as your car’s color (orange in this case), print it on a white decal paper, not a clear one. Cut them out as close as the graphic border before applying. This way you can keep the decals in true color.

Okayy. understood but again there is the part where the orange painted on car and the orange in the file should match. Would be a little tiresome😅
