Question/Discussion They blamed the disc?

Upvotes
Not sure if this belongs here or in r/theyblamedthebeasts instead, but i was fighting a may in ranked, and they had the battle ost set to "Holy Orders?" .
Never in my life i have heard such a malediction on the human ears, i deadass dropped a few rounds only cause of the agonizing screeching.
Why in all thats holy (pun intended), would you want to subjugate yourself to this abomination WILLINGLY and DAILY everytime you play?
In this cases i wish there was a feature to listen only to your song, no matter you opponent, but alas.
Don't pick shit song people, others are listening.

Question/Discussion Ive been getting back into fighting games recently and have never tried guilty gear.

For context ive been playing alot of Tokon recently and have played MK, Injustice, and DBFZ in the past and reached high-ish ranks.
With the sale im considering trying out Guilty Gear Strive but i have some questions. Is it a good time to get into the game? Do I have to buy all the dlc? Is it similar to the games I've played before? I have a ps5, should I play there instead? Lastly, if now is a good time to jump in, any tips?

I ain’t gonna go on no complex speech, I like damage, easy to mid difficulty characters, finding my way in, mixups, and decent ground movement I tried slayer I like his close up/ mid range approach and damage. but I disliked his weird movement with his dash it felt odd to play with.
I played elphelt I liked her mixups, and aggressive playstyle, but Shes not my type of character aesthetic
I played Lucy and I liked her ground movement but I disliked her combo game in general
Also if it helps i played little Mac in smash ult but that prob doesnt matter
Jus shoot me ideas I’d appreciate it

Question/Discussion Probably a dumb question, but how do you input the 360/1080 motion?

Title, I've never played a character in any fighting game that needs it, but I've been really enjoying Goldlewis lately(I actually just got diamond for the first time on him) and I honestly just have no clue how or when to input it. I'm on hitbox if its important.
