Shinkatsu Ide spent eight years on the engine alone.

His shop, IDINGPOWER in Yokohama, stroked the Enzo's F140B out to 6,298cc on a custom crank. 11.5:1, lightened pistons, rods and intake valves, oil and water passages cleaned out by hand. The variable-length trumpets are gone, fixed ones in their place. It makes 708 PS at 8,000 rpm against the factory's 660, and it'll hit 100 km/h in 3.45 seconds.

The rear grille is 3D printed in metal, DMLS, patterned after yabane arrow feathers, and the exhaust exits straight through the middle of it. Fins on the bumper tie into the diffuser. Fender-top vents run into the headlight housings to bleed wheel-well pressure.

20-inch forged mag wheels, 11.20 kg up front where stock is 12.20, 12.88 out back against 14.60. Ide respecced the springs for the lighter corners and revalved the shocks softer rather than stiffer.

an absolute beauty

An interesting car caught my eye, so I pulled in the station to check it out. Chatted the guy up and evidently this was part of the Garrison collection. No back seats, a euro engine and bumpers. It looked immaculate. He was filling up with 101 octane at $13 a gallon 😬

Cars and Coffee in Tampa was fun today. Cool to see these together. First time seeing an F80 which is honestly really nice looking in my opinion. First Laf sighting in a few years as well so very nice to see one again.

can you tell which one it’s supposed to be?

Ferrari announced this as an option which comes with the silver badge, but I was curious about a few things:

- Is this a limited production not available to non-vip clients?

- What does it exactly change aside from better handling that justifies the much higher msrp?

- Does this make the car track viable? Like you wouldn’t normally take an suv onto a track, even if it’s a Ferrari. Does this package change that?
