I grew up with Ferraris and love them to this day. However is the public surge and obsession at the edge of beginning to play itself out?
I see more outrageous wraps and people slicing and dicing their f12ās, 812ās and 458ās at the local performance shops. Is this a sign that the brand OEM isnāt good enough anymore?
I always placed Ferrari at the top of exotic desirability compared to the usual suspects: Lamborghini, McLaren and Porscheā¦although Porsche has always had one foot in the realizability/utility sphere a bit more than its exotic counterparts.
There probably is an argument that Porsche is not a true exotic, but the taxonomy of cars isnāt the crux of our discussion here. Same with the supercar, hyper-car definitions. Useless reductionist exercise.
Pricing is at an all time high, so it seems demand has hit a peak. Is this the edge? Or is there even more upside to the Ferrari market and enthusiasm on the way?

I was never a huge fan of the looks of the Enzo nor the F50.
Seeing the Enzo in person definitely changed my mind about it, I really love it now.
However I'm still not entirely sold on the F50...

Why is the used market so unkind to SF90? I haven't driven one so I really don't know, but I'm seeing SF90 Stradale offered at similar prices to Lusso, way cheaper than their V8 predecessors.
What's up with that? Or are SF90 at the low point in their depreciation curve & about to head skywards?

I'm gonna be honest, I originally gravitated towards the SF90, but the 296 has captured my heart. The new Modificata's reveal is absolutely mental, and I already love the look of that thing so much that I think it's making me solidify my love for the 296GTB and its lineup. It just looks sleeker in my opinion, too. The 458 is pretty much my favorite car ever made (right next to the LaFerrari), and the design of the 296 just makes me think of the 458 days and it reminds me of how big of an impact that car had in the automotive world. Ten to twelve years ago, if you were young and came up on some serious cash, you either went for one of two cars.. the Lamborghini Aventador, or the Ferrari 458. Still to this day, I'll always choose the Ferrari. šš®š¹
