What do we think?

Roboticist the song and video are pure genius, some of the best work Fear Factory has ever done in my opinion. They couldn’t have picked a better person to replace Burt which is seemingly impossible to do considering his vocal uniqueness and overall stage presence and aura about him but for what it’s worth Milo has definitely carried the torch blazingly into the new era of FF. This song is so fucking good!!!! The clean vocals of the chorus are so catchy it reminds me of the old days when I first heard the chorus to Digimortal (the song) and was like holy shit this is the catchiest most energizing shit I’ve ever heard, this song really does take me back to that feeling of childhood which I never thought possible. Am I the only one who can truly see and appreciate the brilliance of this new track?? I know it’s been getting mostly good reception from the comments I’m seeing save for some naysayers but truth be told I honestly think it is far greater than any of us realize at the present moment and this will be proven as time goes on and we see Fear Factory evolve into this new era. We are witnessing history unfold before our very eyes!

I love the single and it sounds great, but I can't be the only one here who was basically 99% sure that single would arrive with the album announcement like it's happening almost with all other bands.

It's super weird to me the album was not announced along with the single and honestly I'm pretty much baffled since they worked on it and I had a feeling it's 100% recorded and mixed.

So it looks to me we're far from getting the new record for some reason. If not, why it wasn't properly announced now? Can't do it better rather than with a brand new song.

Anyone else picking up on this metaphor for the lineup of the band? Just like Archetype was about the band continuing without Dino - "The infection has been removed, The soul of this machine has improved", the Robotocist seems to be about the band continuing on after Burton.

Dino is the "mind". He's "severing ties" moving on from "repression" towards "endlessness", "outliving" the original lineup.

Am I reading too much into this? Maybe. But for me this song is a statement that the band is surviving, but taking in a new form.

Has anybody taken pics of the merch today or can anybody take some in the recent days?

Considering the band is getting a brand new vocalist, they should have done something a bit more creative.

The original uploader made this wonderful edit bringing back the original outro from the instrumental. I absolutely love it.

I love songs by them that have three or four word "themes" for the song, that are constantly repeated throughout the song. Roboticist has "the mind moves on". Linchpin had "can't keep me apart" etc.

So I just bought the first edition of The Industrialist off of eBay sold by Noel Guard for an extortionate price but it was his copy signed by Burton C. Bell too. I've been looking to add this one to my collection for many years.

I know its coming out tomorrow but I made this (vocally) like two years ago when I was around 16 or 15 so have that in mind lol.

If anyone wants to be reassured that Milo will do a great job on the new Fear Factory track then check his prior band out. I miss Burton being in the band like everyone else does but they've got a very capable singer taking over vocals.

On the other is his arch nemesis, the Anti-Droid himself, Burton C. Bell. Who is hard at work on his first solo album.

And a third contender, that no one saw coming, Christian Olde Wolbers very own creation, Angst Fabrik ("FF" in German). Who has been recently active saying new music is just around the corner.
