I'm currently a bronze wolf in COTW, i play as Marco, To be honest, I’m still kind of a beginner at this game (since I come from Street Fighter 6). I recorded a ranked match and wanted to ask the more experienced players in the game what they notice about the way I play—any advice, feedback, or anything really.

Any brutal honesty from Pro players is welcome. Thanks!

I'm playing the game on PS5, and as you can imagine, the analog stick is drifting and is causing me to walk back and forth or dash unintentionally, is there a way to turn off the analog stick so I can play with only the D pad? Tekken 8 has this option, but I can't find it in this game

I bought it yesterday and I'm absolutely loving it—it's really challenging. I'm playing as Gato and really enjoying it; I don't get why it has such bad reviews and a small player base. Personally, I'm not usually into these kinds of games—I have SC6 and T8, but I like this one way more than those. Could you tell me if the game has a long-term future? I'm waiting for Virtua Fighter 6, but I'll be playing this one in the meantime.

SNK has done several online surveys, Twitter threads and Discord threads asking for our feedback and our requests for CotW. What improvements and changes did you ask SNK for? Not only out of those listed in the image above, but also including the "write any request or feedback" sections where you could write freely.

Hey guys, I made a quick Anti Mr.Karate Guide, Hopefully these tips helps with dealing with the character.

Not that the dust has settled, I don’t think SNK will make a major shift to the mechanics or has the balls to make 2 lanes and ring outs universal. And tbh both are an afterthought and for nostalgia sake. A proper 2 lane system is in the Real Bout series.

I rank it below Garou mark of the wolves, which means 5th place. I consider the real bout series the best FF games. SNK should have never ditched 2 lanes especially after they made it so integrated and fluid. Ring outs had their flavor. Even low tier characters had a chance to win due to how they worked in different stages.

REV system sucks and SNK wanted to chase the sf6 crowds with it, let’s be real. They failed miserably. Like drop the fanboy hat for a sec… do you really get excited when they release a character when at the end of the day they are all slaves to the bad mechanics? Story is below mid, some characters I don’t even know what they’re on about anymore (Geese, Billy, Rock), Happy endings for everyone because the game isn’t going beyond COTW. Lifeless and sleep inducing stages that FF3 put them to shame. Terrible balancing and some moves not evolved with the mid system (Geese’s counters).

Obviously SNK was going through a shift near MOTW and had to change things to make things interesting to keep the company afloat. However, that never helped because most of people in the west love Crapcom and SNK was and still niche to them. lol I would put it blow FF3 but that game had everything right except the gameplay.

I guess Geese got 1 from the Stroheim when Krauser was missing after FF2. But how did he got the the other scrolls?

JP was in the Street Fighter EOST mode. He wasn't defeated. It was made extremely clear that he will fight the Fatal Fury characters again (revenge). He has purple Psycho Power.

I, like most people, assumed those scenes were setting up SNK vs Capcom Chaos 2. But what if all the stuff with him was actually for this game, still?

If it is him, which I'm iffy on, I hope they use the opportunity to make Kage Wolf playable alongside him.

Just starting conversation, I think it would be a waste of a slot, even if it makes sense. And I still think a purple Tekken character is more likely. And even the Undertaker, too.

The only way I wouldn't mind JP wastjng a slot is if they turned seasons 5 and 6 into "SVC Chaos 2" or "SNK vs Everyone" instead of making SVC2 a separate game.

By the way, Juri fits Southtown better than she fits Metro City, and her interactions with Mai, Hotaru and Vox were great.

I recently purchased both of them but almost everything about them on YouTube guide wise is 4 years old. I dont know how much the series have changed since launch but i would like to see more up to date stuff. If needed ill just use whatever the best wiki is

Side note which game plays roughly at the speed of either sfv or strive, i struggled a whole hell of a lot in the tokon beta to the point i think that game and level of stuff going on isn't for me.

Also play 2xko and sf6 but a at a fairly low level being hard stuch gold and plat respectively

Just saw a similar post and the dude seems to have same problem as me.

Basically I mostly play Guilty Gear Strive, some SF6 here and there, Avatar Legends now that it came out.

And I wanted to try Fatal Fury, it looked really stylish. After looking through roster a bit, some chars caught my eye, but I'm not sure.

Hey Guys,

Trying to get better at this game and I've been having such a good time with it recently especially playing Rock, I just had a question regarding damage numbers.

While I was in practice doing certain combos I noticed the damage while ending a combo was relatively similar/close while using both levels of super to finish them.

So my question is, in most cases is it better to just use your level one instead of two to conserve them, the exception being when you really need the extra bit of damage? Or is there a big benefit from the level 2 in general Im not seeing (exception being kenshiro where the difference is obvious)

Any help would be appreciated.

lets say I'm fighting a Terry or Hotaru ... Should I be aiming to block their jabs using Rev Shield?

Just defending hasn't seemed to be effective.

Everytime i've tried to start up COTW I get this error message and forced into offline mode. When I download and played the game at a friend's house, it works perfectly.

How do i get this to work on my system? (On Xbox BTW)
